I took my daughter to Amelia Jacob's for her first haircut. Alyssia (sorry if I have misspelled her name) was so nice and did a great job. Very kind and friendly. Thank you so much! We will definitely be back.

Said no for a skin fade....got a skin fade.Beard line up wasnt even remotely symmetrical for the sides. Had to give a step by step direction and the barber still messed it up.

If i could give 1 star i would. Absolute joke of a haircut I recieved. Thought i would stop by as i was in that part of the mall. The barber I had was rude/distracted every 5 seconds looking up and looking around more interested in what was happening around him then focusing on my haircut. I went in for a simple burst fade and he messed my hairup THAT BAD that i ended up having to go to the Spot Barber downstairs and get them to fix my hair, this barber took my burst fade almost upto the top of my head and gave me a MR T mowhawk, and to add insult to injury all the other barbers were staring and making jokes saying Oh geez you took that a bit high". AND he charged me $40!!John from the Spot tried to save my hair but eventually had to shave my whole mullet off in an effort to blend in and make my hair presentable. So all in all avoid this place

Three days ago I had paid $315 to get my hair done at Amelia Jacobs in macarthur square. I had a tease Balayage done. Three days later when I washed my hair at home, chunks of the front parts which were bleached fell apart and it kept on falling as I brushed. I was in shock and cried. Went back with my fallen hair to show them. They told me they can offer me a free in house treatment but when I asked for my money back, the owner had said to the stylist that “it’s only the front of her hair so she can’t get her money back”. Gutted because the front of your hair is everything! My hair is now brittle and although I paid for K18 to be applied it obviously wasn’t applied correctly and the bleach was left on for too long. The stylist who did my hair was very unprofessional and rude when I came back to get the free treatment. She belittled me and I just chose to not react to her actions. Regardless, her defensive behaviour showed that she clearly messed up somewhere along the line. Please chose your stylist carefully! Upon looking at reviews, I’m not the only one with this experience. Do not get your hair coloured here.

Each and every successful hair salon in this area, you can say fairly they got their experience from Trendy Hair. Because this, a network exists which offers, further sophistication and styling requirements which are best sought out through Trendy Hair guidance.Personally, I have never needed to look elsewhere although I have. I have determined it to be a waste of cut hair and fine looks if you're not going to the best on offer here, in the Great Western Sydney. Try it for yourself, and you'll notice on arrival, the lack of anxiety or tension. I recently visited Barber Up in Macarthur Square and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff who made me feel welcomed.The interior design of the shop was modern and sleek, with comfortable chairs and a relaxed atmosphere. The barber who cut my hair, Ali, was highly skilled and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. He also offered suggestions on how to best achieve the look I was going for.During the haircut, Ali made sure to check in with me frequently to ensure that I was happy with the progress. He was attentive and meticulous in his work, which resulted in a fantastic haircut that I was very happy with.In addition to the high-quality haircut, I also appreciated the attention to detail and customer service that the shop provided.Overall, I highly recommend Barber Up for anyone in need of a great haircut and a fantastic customer experience. The staff are friendly and skilled, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the attention to detail is second to none.

Paid $160 just to get told the colour I want is wrong and that I should go darker then what I want. Got my ends cut NOT STRAIGHT, got a girl who couldn’t speak English and burnt my scalp with a hot hairdryer, who also splashed water all over my face when washing the hair dye out. I went in with red hair came out with dark brown with a red tint. My first and last experience with these “professionals”.

I went to get my hair done at Amelia jacobs in hopes of finding my new place to go. I went with daughter and we both had different hairdressers as would be expected. Our appointments were the first of the day and we were both excited to get the results we wanted. My hairdresser, Jess started doing my foils then not even half way through left me to start another client. I was left for a good 15 mins until she came back to finish my foils. And then left doing my hair for a client where the colour of their hair went wrong so I was thrown to someone else. Everytime I was at the basin getting hair washed from new hairdresser she kept the head of the basin hose on my head whilst moving around to reach all of my head and in turn hitting it against my head, like wow! Didn’t get the option of viewing the back of my head, colour has gold tones, a spot behind my ear was missed so is visible when I’ve hair up. My daughters hairdresser stayed with her throughout the entire process and she walked out with great hair. It is disappointing cause I would have kept coming back but sorry to say that won’t be happening. This is a shame cause I did see good work walk out
