My mother became a patient of this centre in January this year, following her removal from an aged care facility. She is a complex care patient, with many chronic issues and requires narcotic prescriptions. The doctor we chose to see as her GP was lovely, cannot fault her. She was thorough, friendly, and listened to my mum.Since our first visit we have seen basically all of the GP's who work in the facility, as well as the nursing team.Of the staff, I cannot fault them. Over the last 5 months we have watched the practice become busier and busier, and more GP's leave the facility. Although run off their feet, they continually turn up and do their work the best they can to the circumstances. Now I am not sure who owns the facility and manages the clinic, but they are were my issues lie. This clinic has seen a massive loss of staff. As of this moment, there are no further doctors being employed - whether that be through word of mouth for the conditions, or the administrative body doesn't think they need to. There are structural issues with the building, namely mould inside the doctors rooms. Yes, there has been an unprecedented amount of rain recently but this building provides healthcare. Healthcare to people such as my mother, who has multiple respiratory issues that can be irritated and worsened by mould spores. Our GP left the facility in the last few weeks, so now we have undertaken the mammoth task of finding a new practitioner who feels confident taking on my mothers care (which is extremely hard, as anyone who lives in the Moreton District currently can attest to). Thankfully, we have found someone and as such have asked for medical records to be transferred to ensure safest care and handover. Today, we receive in the mail a letter from a company that states they own my mothers record and we need to pay $41.29 within 14 days to have her medical record released to the new GP. I have no recollection of signing anything upon first usage of Bertha Street Medical and Dental Centre that stated the medical record would not be kept onsite, nor be the property of the treating doctor or clinic.Torn between wanting to give a good rating because I feel for the people employed and working there, I just can't. This centre feels like it is going under, and fast. You can't expect four or so GP's to manage safely in sub par conditions what once was handled by 12+ in normal times.

What a down turn is service. Waited for some time while the receptionist was on the phone with a personal call. Finally a nurse served and checked me in. I asked if the Dr was on time as my appointment was scheduled. The reply was I'm a nurse not a receptionist!". Disgusting service and attitude. While waiting to see the Dr

I see my regular GP here. The Centre is Okay. It is clean and nothing can be done about the waiting. If you book, an hours wait is alright. Doctors have to deal with whatever cases they see. They can do nothing about consultations that run over time.

I have a terrible needle phobia but Nurse Stephanie was fantastic. Totally professional and empathetic and made the appointment stress free. She is a credit to her profession and I feel much less stressed about the booster shot. Many thanks.

Wow, surprised to see so many negative reviews. My experience has been completely opposite! I attended this practice today after my husband had recommended it to me many times. Reception area was spotlessly clean, reception staff friendly and the GP I saw was absolutely fantastic!I look forward to becoming a regular patient here as it’s much closer to home.Looks as though the building was recently sold so hopefully any issues made in some previous reviews will be sorted out now by new owners.

I made a telehealth appointment and had to ring the clinic an hour after the appointment time. Dr Adnan finally rang on the wrong phone number, no apologies for being late and whilst I was understandably short with him, his manner was disgusting as if he didn't care and I was just a nuisance. I've also seen Dr Macbride and she would have to be one of the worst drs I've ever seen. Stood at the reception area complaining how hard things were for her for over 10 mins, instead of seeing patients that had been waiting for over 30 mins. She was practically trying to crawl out the window as if I was a germ infested rat, whereas I had more to worry about catching something from her than she from me. If I didn't want to tell my extensive story to another clinic, I'd go but last time I tried, the other clinic said they have a hard time getting records sent from Bertha St. There are a couple of drs there that are good, but one has left and my usual is on holidays. Obviously some think their time is more important than mine, well it's not, but if you tell them this, you are labelled as uncooperative and aggressive, instead of just standing up for yourself. Really not impressed with the service received from some of these drs.

Booked in for a telehealth phone call with doctor john patten, just for a script to avoid wasting time, spreading germs at the clinic all for a script. Booked for 10am, still waiting at 3pm. Reason why I left this doctors practice, incompetent. Called up twice to be told he sees all his customers first then handles the telehealth after 4pmSo what was the point booking in at a certain time?

My daughter fell nearby and split her head open, I took her to this clinic as it was the closest and open. The nurse and doctor we saw were absolutely fantastic with my young child and very reassuring towards me. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience given the situation. A huge thank you!

My wife caitlyn and kids have been patients of the centre since moving back to Brisbane in 2016. We are mainly with dr briddon or dr patten but if they are unavailable any other gp that myself or my family have been seen by are always professional well trained caring and thorough with our medical needs and We have always been happy with the care we have received. The team at reception are lovely kind and engaging especially with our little ones when they want to show them something. My wife has undergone several iron infusions at the centre and would rather come here than the hospital as staff as much more gentle and your not a pin cushion. Thank you for everything you do each and every day. No all hero’s wear capes. The Pyatt Family
