Ferntree Gully Children's Centre

Could not be any happier with this lovely centre.The staff are lovely and go above and beyond for my child. I feel that my child is cared for and supported by the lovely educators.I highly recommend this childcare centre to any family looking for a caring and professional centre for their child.

My experience here is not great, the mothers are discouraged from dropping there children off any later then 11am, so for anyone with a crazy work/study schedule this place is definitely not for you! I was told by Ingrid the owner/operator of Ferntree Gully Child Care that dropping my child off at 1.30pm was not the best thing for my child in her experience

Could not be happier with this child care centre. The staff have been amazing. It's a very welcoming place and the educators are very attentive. We are unfortunately moving from the area and have been looking at new centres for our child and it's made us realise even more how fantastic the place is. It's very calm, the children are well behaved and our child has learnt so much. I highly recommend this centre.

Our child attended Ferntree Gully Children's Centre for 3 years, and although it wasn't the closest, it was by far the best. The educators and owners of this centre really care about the children and their development, this is not only shown by the pride taken in the presentation of the centre but also just simply observing how they interact with the children and the way the kids light up when they see their favourite educator.We were also highly impressed with the communication provided to parents to keep them updated on what's happening around the centre, but also with your child.If you're looking for a childcare centre or kinder where the children are the number one priority (and their development), then I can not recommend this place enough. It's not part of a big chain either, it's a family owned business where you can easily have a chat with the owners if you ever have any concerns.Our child still talks fondly of his time at Ferntree Gully Children's Centre, even though he hasn't been there for over 12 months. We recommend this centre to all our friends and family in the area, and strongly recommend checking them out if you're after a centre where your child feels welcome.

My child was asked to leave this service 4 years ago as a 2 year old because I couldn’t make drop offs before 9am every time. I explained as a single mother with rheumatoid arthritis that mornings were very difficult for me. The owner was mean and rude. I felt bullied and discriminated.

When I tried to communicate with this service about supervision and the amount of incidents that were happening I was told that the service could not accomodate, we should leave and hire a nanny. The centre manager does not understand how to communicate without being condescending and offensive. The staff in the rooms were lovely and very hard working. But management is from the top down. Since we have moved we have realised just how bad this centre handle situations. Not recommended.

Such a lovely centre! My daughter has been going to this centre since she was 8months old and I couldn’t be happier. It has a very homely feeling about it and we love that. Staff are amazing and so supportive and helpful. Can’t recommend enough! If your looking for a centre in the area then definitely check it out!
