Grinding fresh beans with your hand grinder, producing a perfect rich espresso, thanks to your beans & Bialetti coffee pot & for those like my partner, creamy milk using the milk frothier. It’s so simple & rewarding to have a perfect coffee every time which I thought I could never achieve. Do yourself a favour, take the time & do it. Jason is a wealth of knowledge

I dropped in today and chatted with Jason and was immensely impressed by the precision and attention to detail in his roasting and equipment. Jason is clearly a passionate expert and I am so glad I visited. I can’t wait to get home and pull some shots from the coffee I purchased.

Jason is a coffee connoisseur and a passionate perfectionist about all things coffee related. The first pic is the awesome Orchestrale Nota machine he sold me and is teaching me to use and the rest of the photos are from Tenango in Ballina. If you really like coffee and want to know how to make a good cup you cannot go past Tenango Espresso.

My partner Ellie and I are up from Sydney visiting Ballina and decided to pop into Tenango to check out the coffee.Jason’s knowledge of coffee roasting is second to none and his passion for what he does his extraordinary. I am by no means a coffee expert so was happy to listen and learn. Jason is extremely helpful and willing to pass on his knowledge of coffee.If you are in Ballina and are after some great specialty coffee and other coffee gadgets I highly recommend popping into Jason’s shop. Wow. I ducked in on my way through to the airport late last year and stayed talking to Jason so long I had to rush to make my flight. Jason is an incredibly knowledgeable guy doing some very innovative things (I wasn't expecting barrel aged cold brew!) I'm happy to recommend Jason and Tenango to anyone keen on espresso (or cold brew!)

What an amazing little find, a small family run ethical business that’snow my go to anything coffee related!Jason and his team are a wealth of knowledge producing amazing products. From the actual machines and grinders right down to coffee beans, syrups, chai, tea blends and hot choc blends, you won’t be disappointed, if your not sure exactly what your after just ask, Jason will take the time to find out what you like and come up with the best product to suit your needs.Oh and don’t forget to ask about the marshmallows, you’ll never buy supermarket ones again!

I have grown and processed my own coffee as a hobby for around 30 years. Being quite particular about the quality of coffee, I give Tenango 5 plus an additional 5 stars. Given the selection of beans and the precision of the roast, the crema this coffee produces is exceptional and consequently the coffee tastes incredible. The special Christmas Pud blend was next level. I fully recommend!!
