Mont Health Medical (Formerly Doctors at Northgate)

A friendly bulk billing practice with fantastic doctors. The doctors take their time listening to you to make sure your health is well looked after. My family have been seeing Dr. Blackman for a few years now and the quality of care still pleasantly surprises us. Dr. Dunlea and Dr. Sengupta are equally as helpful too. Cannot recommend more.

Went to see Dr. Abhishek to talk about my migraines after other Doctors wouldn't take me seriously. Dr. Abhishek was professional and understand and, after years of pain and apathy from other doctors, I am finally able to address my migraines when they arise.

Very friendly doctors, nurse and reception. Clean and professional inside with plenty of seating. Various specialists available during set times including hearing specialists, ENT (Ear, Nose, Throat), specialist , Physiotherapist and occupational doctor. It also has a child's play area to keep the kids entertained while you wait. Highly recommended!

All the staff members there are lovely, friendly and very helpful. Wait time was pretty much non-existent. I booked an appointment here due to my main practice being closed at the time and Doctors At Northgate was the only other practice in the area that offered bulk billing to everyone. Would make my regularly practice if my usual one wasn’t less than 1km from my place, in which I may yet even change my mind and keep coming back. Thanks guys.

I came off my mountain bike and injured myself badly. Booked an appointment and saw Dr Abhishek Sengupta. I can only describe this as the worst experience with a doctor that I have had. Dr Sengupta appeared to be mentally on a journey through time and space. He did not ask me what I had been doing to manage the injury/what medications I had taken and did not even want to see the injury (which I had wrapped up in a compression bandage). He did not communicate effectively with me. He did not prescribe me any pain relief or give me a potential treatment plan for the injury. At the end of the appointment we were sitting in silence as he looked at his computer and I said, Is that it?" And he looked up to say "Yes" before looking back at the computer. And I saw myself out

Terrible practice, I was refused treatment after being visibly sick because I was 8 mins late to my appointment. I understand I was late but to be told I will need to reschedule and turned away from a medical practice because of 8 mins is appalling.

The only bothersome i have is the waiting times; i think it is disgraceful and rude having to wait 30 minutes for a 10, 15 minutes consultation. In one ocassion i have to wait almost an hour, i asked the doctor if he had spare rooms to sleep there, he didn't have a clue why i was saying that, he didn't even realised i was waiting there for that long may be reception is to blame, however i am sure patient names are written there somewhere with the specific times that is why we get reminders to confirm appointments or is it an automatic system no one checks?

I've recently transferred to this practice after moving, and so far I am very impressed. I've seen 2 of the lovely doctors, and Darren in reception has today gone above and beyond to assist. While one never really wants to be a regular at a doctor's surgery, if you have to be, at least the team at Doctors at Northgate make it as painless as possible.

Absolutely horrible service. We booked our baby in for her 6 week vaccinations (a week in advance). We got to the appointment to only be told by the doctor they wouldnt be doing them as their nurse was too busy doing covid vaccinations and to leave. No apologies, no cancellations in advance when they knew they staff couldn't complete them. Safe to say I WILL NOT recommend this surgery to anyone local

Found this wonderful practice by chance and I am so happy I did. My previous Dr retired and was unable to find anyone as good as he was until now. I have never felt so looked after, and every Dr and staff member here is wonderful, which for me takes away a lot of stress and they have really looked after me. Have recommended this practice to all of my friends and family. Can't say enough great things about Doctors at Northgate.
