It's beautiful and deep in the untouched nature. The walk from Mount Hay Rd is not that difficult but not short either. Definitely worth a visit but better to carry water and food. Could get muddy after rainy days and too hot in sunny summer.

Stunning views, can be a bit exposed to high winds. Relatively easy trek, or if you're on a trail run can be technically challenging at times but don't let that put you off in order to appreciate some of the most spectacular views around.

One of my favorite place to hike. You have to drive around 20 mins in dirt road but it's manageable without 4wd.

One of my top spots in the blue mountains to visit. The scenery is out of this world, lots of hard rocky outcrops and stunning views. In parts you forget you’re in Australia. The hike there is equally as amazing, it’s about an hour each way depending on your ability...however overall it’s not a challenging walk. You can even appreciate the damage done by the bushfires last summer, it’s extensive and has completely changed the landscape...there’s beauty in the roughnessPhotography wise you’ll be snapping away all along the hike. My favourite spot is the waterfall on the giant cliff face you’ll see to your left. The falls aren’t visible at first however you’ll see them from the top of the pylon. It’s also a bit of a scramble in places so watch your step

Nice relaxing trail, nothing too challenging, but some very nice views. The road towards Lockleys Pylon is a little bumpy, but not impossible for small cars. (After rainy days, be aware of potholes. Some sections also have soft surfaces, so be careful not to get bogged down)Track from carpark to Lockley Pylon is about 3 hrs (when taking your time and enjoying the scenery)

An excellent walk with beautiful views of the blue mountains landscape from up top. Not too difficult, but can get extremely windy. Careful on the drive in: lots of holes on the dirt/gravel road and the two-way road is sometimes more for one car at a time.

Highly recommend doing this walk, dirt road to the car park was long but not so bad (even after all the rain). One of the most extraordinary walks I’ve done in the Blue Mountains.10kms walk including Du Faur Head.Seriously some of the best views in Blue Mountains, remote and unspoiled - our walk traversed through the heath to a small peak overlooking eucalypt forests of the Grose Valley. We climb all the way up to Lockleys Pylon taking in the golden sandstone cliffs of Mount Hay and Mount Banks.Du Faur Head is quite a descend, very impressive staircase takes you down and then back up to the escarpment where you spent some time walking on very rocky ledges and climbing a few rocks to get to the lookout before retracing steps and a huge climb back!!

Amazing trail with breathtaking views of the valley! Unfortunately we didn't finish the whole trail.

Really lovely hike, perfect for a slightly cool overcast day. There is very little tree cover, which means much of the trail affords gorgeous views of the escarpments and valleys. Terrain varies from Sandy sections to rocky trail, suitable for a leisurely walk, or a good trail run. Walking at a steadily fast pace with 2 short stops and we were done within 2 hours.
