It's not often you get customer service like that which I experineced to day at ProTooling. I visited the shop to day to upgrade from my Whustof and Shun knives that I have had for a while now. I'm relatively new to the Japanese knife club" and after reading a number of positive reviews

About two weeks ago I purchased a Hitohira T10 (by Takamura)|210 Gyuto Knife (VG10). I walked into the shop with the intensions of purchasing a chefs knife that could last me a long time. The customer service was amazing and the staff were able to aptly narrow down hundreds of knives to a select few that fit my needs. I am amazed by the performance of this knife and thank the pro tooling staff for their amazing and professional help. It was truly a great experience!

Absolutely the best knife buying experience I've had. The staffs are knowledgable and I learned a lot from them, over the course of a few months I find myself keep coming back to the shop. They offer a great range of products as well

Came here after reading all the amazing reviews and was not disappointed. The place is an art gallery and the staff are extremely knowledgeable and give you all the time and attention you need to feel comfortable making the right decision on your purchase.With customer service lacking in recent times, coming here was a breath of fresh air.I wish I had asked the lovely lady her name as she helped me for over an hour with all my beginner questions.

This is you go to place if you work in hospitality and you're tying to get a good knife.They've got all price ranges and all types of steel, an the best thing is their costumer service. Highly recommend visiting them. Was a little sceptical over the review thinking surely they can’t be that good but after meeting the lovely lady sharpening the knives and Zach I was amazed. I got so much help from Zach picking the right knives and I will surely let everyone I know where to go if they were looking to buy.

Probably the only review I’ll ever leave on Google, but this place deserves it. The customer service is unbelievable. The staff are patient and generous with their time and knowledge, and the shop is as beautiful as the stock they carry. Thank you so much for all your help. This was one of my best knife buying experiences ever. I went there on my birthday to get a knife for myself. The people over there have enormous amounts of knowledge about Knives and Japanese Knives. So the guy understood my budget and what i was looking for, after which he got me a few knives from their display and told me to each and every details about that specific knife like where it was made, the steel used, how to maintain it etc. After looking at various options I chose Hitohira Blue Clad knife with a Timber wood handle. He also gave me a small discount for my bday which was a mini surprise for me. At the end I left the shop completely satisfied. Highly Recommended

What an incredible experience from the second I walked into the door to the second I walked out. I was met with a passionate salesperson who really took my concerns with picking out a knife to great importance. This was my first artisanal Japanese knife, moving up from Shun and Kasumi. No doubt will my collection grow and now I know the exact place to go when I want quality and someone with experience that I can trust. Also found it very funny that they included a band-aid in the box. Had a chuckle then actually came in handy when I tested how sharp the knife was. Very well done ProTooling.
