Ipoh Garden Restaurant
Disappointing experience. Very limited menu. Taste was underwhelming. Price increased so much and yet the portions reduced. Toppings were very little with the price you're paying for. Just look at the photos. You could count the number of shredded chicken on the top. The hor fun was all broken pieces. Will not be going back again.

I haven't been back for awhile. Now the management has changed and so is the food standard. It's better but choices are not that much.

Absolutely brilliant - the food here is delicious, the restaurant is clean and inviting, well appointed, yet simple and relaxing, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.The inchikabin chicken, alone, is enough reason to come here, but i also love the char kway teow, and my wife put away a bowl of their Penang white laksa like it was a kid juice box.Well worth the effort to drive here, and even worth the effort to try and find a park.Will definitely be back, and I'd advise you to do the same...

Ipoh Garden Restaurant
First time coming here since it changed management. The menu has slimmed down but it seems like they’re focusing on the dishes they’re good at because everything was really delicious. I had the char kuay teow and I thought it was very authentic, and with medium spice it had just enough kick without setting your mouth on fire. Will definitely be back!

new ipoh garden restaurant open! ipoh hor fun is ~$15 where as in the old restaurant it was $11 so there is a definite price increase. prawn pieces are big but would say the dish overall delicious but is a bit oily and leaves that kind of oily layer in your mouth. famous inchikabin chicken is $12 for around 6-7 prices which were quite small and sweet but overall similar to the old restaurant. staff nice and friendly and good bright environment.

I went there on a weekday for a lunch and ordered the Ipoh Horfun (soup). I am not a massive fan of it, too bland for me. I probably won't be back.

As someone who grew up in Ipoh, this is the most legit hor fun I've ever had outside of Ipoh! The dish transports me back to my hometown and I always have it whenever I'm feeling homesick ❤️ The auntie was very nice and friendly too!

Penang white laksa broth was flavorful and got depth; prawn was overcooked but overall quite a satisfying dish.Beef rendang seasoning was great although the meat could have been more tender and cooked longer as the tendons and fat were not edible.Fried chicken skin was crispy and still moist inside but unfortunately we had a piece with raw meat. While the staff gave us an additional free serve, it's a potential food poisoning event (I guess I will find out later).
