As an experienced hiker, this hike to the summit was pretty terrible and I wouldn't recommend it. Poorly maintained track, lots of mud, and the top isn't good on a cloudy day since it is in the clouds and you wouldn't be able to see anything.Walk goes through different vegetation biomes, about 5 different ones, which is nice. If you decide to do the hike prepare to have wet feet/shoes.After having done the hike, I don't think I'd do it again. Wouldn't recommend the hike, and a day can be Better spent in Strahan or elsewhere.

Very poorly-maintained trail; do not recommend unless you like bushwacking through extremely thick vegetation, stepping in deep mud-pools, and no redemption until the very end. Only recommend if it's not rained for a long time, you are prepared to hike through dense vegetation, and you hate yourself.
