This is a campground run by National Parks and requires a booking online of about $7pp per night for again a beach front campsite. Also drop toilets onsite and a water tank near by to fill up.Chilli beach is a bit of a detour from the PDR on the east coast and can be windy and exposed on a few of the sites but most are sheltered by a bit of tree coverage as wellWell worth it, such a tropical oasis with amazing views, lovely walking tracks and animal sightings.“Jonique Life”Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

Pretty beach, lots of washed up rubbish and seaweed. Weather was humid and windy, but campsites are sheltered from the wind. The beach isn’t visible from most sights but only a short path to the beach .Camped there mid May

Beautiful spot while we were there it was extremely windy. Thankfully we chose a campsite that was sheltered from the wind. Road in was relatively easy, the first section after turning off the Peninsula Development Road was in the worst condition. A few water crossing and quiet a bit of tar.

We stayed at campsite 6 and it was fantastic with amazing beach access. The toilets were great for compost ones.

It's a nice place. Doesn't seem to be too croc interested. Sand is nicely white. It's a bit of a destination for the grey nomads. The drive in from the PDR is pretty challenging depending on the conditions. Only 140km odd but allow best part of 3 hours especially if you're towing anything. And please keep an eye on your review mirror for folks who may be faster than you and be a champ and signal them through whilst showing down to assist the manoeuvre. It never ceases to amaze me how unthinking some drivers can be with this which leads to dangerous situations

Loooooved it. Take your time, bring a machete and get those delicious coconuts off the trees. Wander along the beach and out to the little island on low tide. Eat oysters off the rocks......

Beautiful beach somewhat spoilt by the amount of rubbish on the beach, particularly the tree line. Not suggesting campers are leaving it behind (the campsites are spotless) however the beach clearly captures a lot of rubbish blown ashore which is a shame. I’d be keen to be part of a clean up crew. The campsites full of willing helpers would clean it up in a weekend. No comparison with Noah beach which was utterly pristine.
