Five Waterfall Walk Southern Carpark
Is a car park, approx 10 spots but you can park on the street. Closest waterfall is Cataract, not too far but down a long slippery steep staircase. There are 2 levels to Cataract Waterfall that you can see, so if you weren't keen on walking all the way down you can stop off at the top level.

Love this walk and the best thing is, it is dog friendly. Only a couple of hours walking, but plenty of photo opportunities.

Really nice interesting walk. We started from the southern carpark and took just under 2 hours to do the loop.

Great walks around and a bit less known than the ones further up the hill. Some of the tracks could use a bit of maintenance, and watch out for snakes.

Five Waterfall Walk Southern Carpark
A couple of very different human sized falls in a pleasant walk. Best seen after a bit of rain, but this area stays fairly damp and there is a lot to see. Federal Falls is the more traditional fall - but Junction Falls has a unique 'cracking' sound.The whole area has a 'yesterday' feel about it (some of the signage is showing its age).

Dogs are permitted on a leash.A couple of steep stairs where I had to carry my Greyhound, but the shallow swimming hole and waterfalls are worth it.Slippery in spots where you can walk across the falls.

Great walk. Parking feels iffy but seems like it's fine. Been here several times with no issues. Make sure you park as far down the road as possible so you don't have to do the walk up at the end!
