I’m so grateful to have found my APA family - it has been by far the best thing I’ve ever done for my physical and mental health - I’ve made friends, gotten so much stronger and even cured my chronic back pain! I love the comraderie we have in the studio and coming to class is always the best part of my week! The studios are beautiful, spacious and have everything you need. And El and the instructors so kind - always willing to push us when needed and remind ourselves to not be disheartened when something doesn’t go to plan. I will always recommend APA to anyone wanting to give pole a go!

This is a really great studio. I've learned so much in a few short months and already am so much stronger and flexible. The timetables and locations across Canberra make the classes really accessible. I keep coming back because the instructors are patient, encouraging, insightful and fun. The staff here and the people who attend make the classes super enjoyable and are there to cheer you on every step along the way. 10/10

APA is an incredibly supportive and inclusive space. I’ve been there for almost 2 years and have loved every second. The instructors are professional, the classes are fun and I’ve made so much progress in my time there.

I’ve been with APA since 2019 and absolutely love it there! I started as an absolute beginner and was looking for something new to encourage me to work out. I found the environment and the people super supportive and encouraging of every student at every level. Have not looked back since!

I’ve been doing pole with APA since 2020 and it’s become my second home. I particularly love the variety of classes APA has to offer. Instructors are patient and knowledgeable, and students are so supportive, I feel like I’m surrounded by my own hype squad in every class. I’ve been to every studio that APA has to offer and every single one is beautifully set up! I also have such a soft spot for the Belconnen APA studio because it’s where I first started, and now it has the 24 hour APA pole studio right beside it.

Love the atmosphere and supportive environment in the classes, and I also feel like I'm being pushed a lot physically too in the best way! Definitely recommend if you want to give pole dancing a shot, especially if you're looking to do some sick tricks

If you think of pole dancing are sexy girls in the strip club. You should be here to know that you were totally wrong, and to discover that strength is sexy, and bruises are achievements!Amazing friendly instructors, especially Ms Elizabeth Domazet is an international judge, and she owns the Annual Australian Pole Championship.They have two studios, one for pole and one for aerial arts (silk and Lyra).The pole studio is spacious with heaps of pole. The class is capped with the number of pole so you don't have to share with anyone.This is a great environment to make friends and chill. Also this is the one if you are a guy and you want to learn pole dancing. This is the only place in Canberra that offer unisex classes!

I highly recommend trying a different dance studio before trying this one.I completed two terms of pole here but in the second term found the atmosphere unpleasant so I stopped going, making the mistake of assuming that, like the first term, this membership would end at the end of the term.Each term there were always complications and lots of back and forth with organising membership and booking the next term.I realised after not going for the rest of the second term and none for the term after that, that I was still being charged.When I politely asked Gail for a refund for just the current term where I hadn’t even attended and it was an honest mistake and confusion, she said no, they cannot refund and I just need to pay it up.I also explained that I am a single parent of two kids and this really hurts me financially she still didn’t want to help.I understand Gail has every right to hold me to that contract but I find it very cold and predatorial. It was an honest mistake, there were so many issues signing up that I lost track of what membership I had and at which venue.I have had multiple businesses, and I would never charge someone for something they haven’t received and go out of my way to make sure each customer is cared for fairly…. I just wish it was a universal trait.Please try somewhere else first, its not hard to beat this experience I had.
