Skylight Energy

I have been dealing with Skylight Energy for approximately 5 months.The salesman was wonderful and that's the reason I signed with them Unfortunately it was all down hill from there.... they told me it would be installed mid Nov, then end Nov, the Early Dec. Then 9 Jan , then 16 Jan. Not once was I notified that they were not coming. I even had to withdraw from a family holiday to be on site on Jan 16. This is beyond UNACCEPTABLE and I would have paid the whole sum on completion not by installments.I am now awaiting REFUND and looking for another companyto install my solar.

VERY GOOD SOLAR Company, did an excellent job with the battery and solar installation. Excellent pricing got the best deal after shopping around a few other solar companies. Support was helpful when I had the inverter issue, was all sorted and wifi set up quickly by Vince and Brian provided great after service.

I had a very terrible experience with Skylight Energy. They installed the solar system for our property. We initiated to get a quote from them almost 3 months back. Admin scheduled time for installer to come and install the system, I have been taken leaves and they never turned up and never informed they are not coming. Rescheduled second time, I have also taken leaves and I called them the two days before to confirm, they advised they are not able to come they are very busy. Third time, they called finally before the day telling me they don’t have the solar panel in stock asked me if I want to change to another brand. Hopeless and really bad management company. No communications with customer after taken that 10% deposits. Last time installer rocked up on a Monday 11am in the front house, I did not expect that they will come since they said they will confirm with me on the previous Friday , they never called me to confirm. Plus, installer went on the roof said that there is one tile is already broken. And also the solar panels layout plan is different on what we agreed with the salesperson. Trying to call the salesperson did not pick up. Disagreement was on-site with the layout plan. Ended up go with the installer’s plan. This whole process was really not a good experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

1/08/22I had my solar battery system installed today by Grant Fitzsimmons a contractor for skylight energy. The installation process was awesome, great communication and Grants expertise as a electrician is second too none. Extremely professional on time and neat work.The whole process from start to finish with skylight energy has been above my expectations. There were some delays with availability of hardware, but in the end once the supplier made the hardware available, the team were quick to install. Installation was neat (although tricky due to the nature of my property) and the battery has been working great!

I was very satisfied with the high level of plain speaking technical information they provided to explain and support their quote. Not pushy or bamboozling, very relaxed, projecting a professional confidence.Even though the project was reworked several times to arrive at the best outcome, they were very helpful and patient.The follow up after installation with the authorities to connect to the grid was very thorough. All in all, an excellent experience.Special mention and commendation of Steven and Jean.

What an absolute disgrace to deal with. Over 6 months and no system to speak of, but plenty of no shows costing us time and money to be home from work for NOTHING. Once highlighting they are in breach of their own terms and conditions, and demanding return of deposits, they go to ground and stop all communication from management.The manager Alex is a coward who won’t even respond to communications requesting refunds.I genuinely feel for Carlos and Jean who are wonderful to deal with, but are hamstrung by their shonky manager/boss (Alex), who thinks things will just go away if he ignores them. . Beware of the 5 star reviews which are fake, and by fake accounts to try and boost their dismal ratings. If you want to lose some money and get nothing for it, sign up with these crooks.

I received a great price for a 15.12kw Alpha battery system. After some initial communication problems (a day or 2), we sorted everything out and I got the installation completed, with the system now operating perfectly. Could not be happier with the costing and workmanship.

Fantastic work was done by the crew and I was very impressed with their after-sales service! They Organised the necessary documents for us very quickly. Please keep up the amazing work team! Thank you.

The team performed admirably. They didn't use high-pressure sales techniques, customer service reached out after installation to make sure things was satisfactory, and they used exceptional installers who were also polite and courteous.Overall, I would commend this company!
