Great serviceWe arrived half an hour early and they still managed to fit us in even though it was busy. The food was amazing and we didn't have to wait long at all. We definitely enjoyed our night and will be back. My wife especially loved the vegan menu.

Cosy bar with a great theme and atmosphere. We decided to eat here because of their vegan menu— loved how the prices were compatible to the non-vegan versions. I was most excited for the chick'n wings because I haven't had a good vegan chick'n wing since moving but was a little letdown to be served nuggets. It wasn't bad, just not what I expected. :) No complaints about the burger (Blue Beard's) and mac n cheese!

I sat outside and had a pleasant experience. The staff was helpful with questions, my burger was delicious. My server also provided an improv wine tasting since I missed mine earlier that day. A great staff with great suggestions. Oh and there's a NZ beer that is only served there and it's delicious, perfect for a light summer drink as you enjoy the sun. Oh and happy hour is insane! You'll definitely have a good time!

I recently had dinner at The Hold in Manly, and I have to admit that the food there is consistently good. Every dish I've tried during my several trips has been excellent. On one occasion, the service was subpar, which let down the experience. The staff seemed disinterested and it took a while for our food to appear. The food and atmosphere are generally worth recommending despite this one problem. Hopefully they can raise the quality of their service to equal that of their food.

What a great pub and atmosphere with a very knowledgeable host. This is a place to stay, not for a five, but the whole evening and I bet there isn’t a drink they don’t know how to mix and serve.

I've been here twice now on a saturday and seen the same poor service and I don't really care" attitude from the bar staff each time. They have QR codes on tables - we ordered off them

Over a 40 minute wait for a burger in an almost empty establishment. No accountability from the waitstaff when I asked where my order was. I was told they’d had a massive influx of orders despite the place being a third full (if that).There are much better options in the area.

Excellent burger!! We had the Sailboat burger and the Bootleg Brisket Burger. Both were delicious, especially with beer! The shoestring fries and aioli were tasty, as well. Great pub to stop in after a morning at the beach.
