The Point Coolum Beach - Coolum Beach Holiday Accommodation

I would not recommend this to anyone. I had a one night booking with my family. Room was not the one shown in the photograph. Paid nearly $600 but very bad service, old rooms, mould in the bathroom. Very bad maintained. Funny thing is that you have to dispose your rubbish before you check out and the bins are not located outside your villa it might be somewhere else. No complimentary service. There was a single bin liner put in the kitchen bin, limited supplies. Only the good thing that i found was the swimming pool. Very unsatisfied with the services.

Oh my god. The views from our private terrace were breathtaking. Beautifully appointed accommodation. Very private. Kids loved the pools. Super close to town and the local bus was Literally right outside the door. The only downside was only staying 5 nights and not longer. We will be back.

Great place to stay. Very clean with hospitable hosts. Close enough but also far enough away from the main street of Coolum Beach. 3 minute drive.

Mediterranean vibes at this accommodation. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Location is excellent. Views amazing!The unit we had(15),needs carpet replaced, that would help with smell and comfort.

Fabulous ocean views and villa!Great service and communication from friendly staff. The villa is amazing.The only reason for not rating this a 5-star is that coffee plungers are provided but real coffee is not provided (only instant).Also, not enough toiletries provided for 2 people for a 2-night stay, barely enough for 1 person for 1 night. Maybe consider installing dispensers to fix this issue.

An enjoyable stay let down by a lack of soundproofing between villas. We occupied villa 15 & were dismayed at the amount of noise coming from the occupants of villa 16. They weren't having a party or being especially noisy, but it was disruptive at night time. On the upstairs balcony, we coped with hearing the conversations from our neighbours. But in our bedroom downstairs, we could hear EVERYTHING from next door. It wasn't just limited to chairs scraping, doors sliding etc - although we heard all that. The bedroom noises were highly intrusive & unpleasant. Housekeeping could have been better. Sand from former occupants was clearly visible on kitchen bench tops & on upstairs balcony. Carpet in main bedroom needed a thorough vacuum. Ensuite bathroom had long strands of black hair on the floor & toilet. The usual broken/rusted locks on doors & windows that are typical of holiday apartments. The handrail on the upper balcony had come away in one corner, so we reported that too. Garage access was difficult for a medium-sized car. It was a 25 minute walk to Coolum centre. After all the positive reviews, I was really disappointed.

Quiet location, very comfortable and clean, views are amazing, service great, no complaints, villa was lovely, enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

The unit I stayed in was clean, supplied with the basics. I had access to plenty of tv options, the walk to Coolum was pleasant, shops close by.I did have functional issues with the fridge and air conditioner, however, the manager was very accommodating and helped make my stay quite enjoyable.

The Pro's: location is amazing! View was spectacular! We could see the whales from the verandah, very clean, secure parking, heated pool!! Con's: one bed had a brick holding it up.... light in main bathroom was falling out of the ceiling, clock on wall had run out of batteries, very tight parking, in some areas, not serviced at all, dated kitchen but function. At $600 a night I expected better (peak holiday rates I assume)

We have stayed quite a few times at the Point now and love going back there. The staff are always warm and welcoming. Each unit is a little different but all spacious, well equipped and very clean. This time we had two apartments to stay with a group of friends and our friends were just as impressed as we always are with the features. No matter which apartment we have stayed in, each one has a good sized balcony where we can enjoy the spectacular views. We can't wait for our next stay there.
