Nido Early School Caversham

This centre are very dirty and unsafe for the children. When I had orientation with my child the other day in the toddler room, I can barely walk on the floor because toys are everywhere. When I asked about what is the the staff and ratio, they suggested as we all familiar with 'under the roof'. Its putting the children and staffs in a stressful environment. I wouldn't recommend this centre.

Amazing daycare and fantastic staff

My daughter attended Nido Caversham for 8m while I was juggling work, study and a newborn. After viewing 3 other daycare centers, I was about to give up when I saw a Nido was opening in my area. I took my Mother along to orientation as she is the most critical person I know and she could not fault the center. I immediately enrolled my daughter in the pre-toddler room. We watched her speech EXPLODE, she would come home telling us of incursions, playing with animals, arts, outside play, sesory play, dancing and music. The meals are designed by a nutrionalist and smelt amazing! All the girls, from front desk, to management and the educators would interact with the children and seeing my daughter run up to the staff to hug them would melt my heart. An app allowed photos of my daughter to be sent to me through the day with a blurb of what she had been doing.

Fantastic daycare. My son attended for 6 months recently while I was covering a maternity position. Can’t fault the centre or the staff. Everyone is friendly and my son loves going there every day. He ran into the staffs arms and I was always updated about his needs and what he was doing. They had beautiful toys and my son seemed very happy when I left or picked him up.Management is amazing and always made me feel welcomed. I did a tour with a lovely young lady who was very friendly and seemed to have a good rapport with the staff and children, and we decided yes straight Away. If I am in need of care again I will be sending my child straight back to Caversham.

My three sons attend this service - the Educators are friendly, loving and caring. They teach all my boys resilience and life skills where they can learn and grow. The outdoor yard is amazing, the inside environments are inspiring and my boys absolutely love going. The relationships they have built with my boys are very loving and genuine.

If your child is good with strangers, have strong immune system and good to keep to self, look no further.Asked the carer keep an eye on my little one because his nappy is bit runny/diarrhoea in the night, so he has some rash going on. They didn’t say anything at the time when I dropped him off and 15 mins later when I arrived at meeting received phone calls asking me to pick him up because they are not taking him because it’s bugs. I argued it’s not virus, most likely food because I used toilets few times myself in the afternoon and went away quick. Then I received another phone call asking when he’s gonna be picked up, I said about lunch time. The director’s words “no, he needs to go now”. Anyway, when I picked him up from nursery he was left aside on a rocking chair by himself treated like his poisonous or something. The routine in the app showed that they haven’t even changed a nappy at all too.The service provider really talks like they pay us not the other way around.Since he joined in Feb, the centre sent him home almost every other week due to he’s coughing (understandable); crying too much or not settled. In one point of time, my son is sick as soon as he goes back into the daycare. The strict health policy seems not taking effect at all.Carers always changes in the nursery. The most extreme one is a girl joined and left in 1 month. They seems to have difficulties to keep the staff.
