Disclaimer: Experiences may vary due to the season and/or day/time of dining reservation.Review:Extra friendly and knowledgeable staff that works fast and hard to serve customers. My wife and I enjoyed the Valentines Day special dinner for 2 for the vibe and the vintage feel of the Italian environment. The pizza is cooked with an old fashion style oven. The Pizza chef is making pizza in a semi open kitchen where you can actually see the pizza in the oven. A must try place if you're in Alice Springs and if you're craving Italian food.Con: I don't recommend having the plain spaghetti because it's not worth the money charged for it. If you dine here in a huge party your wait time will be 3x to be served after placing order.

I don’t really like leaving bad reviews but it is what it is..When walking into the restaurant, it had a squishy feel to it with tables very close to each other, the atmosphere was loud as the restaurant was about 80% full.The restaurant is situated on a main road with a roundabout looks quiet nice from the outside, but the décor inside looked unfinished and missing that real Italian feel to it.We ordered Fettucine Marinara and Spaghetti Alla Panna which was very disappointing. Both meals lacked flavour, tasted very bland and boring.The waitress that served us was very friendly and helpful.

Hearty italian spread, large menu of pizza and pasta. BYO only, no alcohol. Recommend booking, but we snagged a table as we arrived early - it quickly filled up.

3rd time I have gone there.1st time I could actually order what I wanted (told twice previously they haven't got Pasta available???)Returned to collect 10 minutes later. Watched waiter take my spaghetti bolognese FROM THE MICROWAVE and put it into the takeaway bag.If I wanted microwave spaghetti, I would have bought it from a supermarket for 1/4 the price.And once I got home, it was bland and watery.At least the cheapo microwave pasta from the supermarket tastes good. But sadly, for an Italian restaurant, this was truly disappointing.

Tried both the chicken and mushroom pasta followed by the Matty B pizza. While my wife enjoyed the pasta I was not overly impressed by it. The pizza was very nice however. I tried the tiramasu for dessert and it was terrible, tasting like the cream was off. The decor and atmosphere was typical of a country town restaurant but cosy. It was popular with a decent number of diners and take away orders. Not sure if I would go back though.

Had a great night in this slightly noisy very family style pizza pasta restaurant. Bookings are recommended on Friday and Saturday nights as it gets very busy. Service is good and the orders are filled in next to no time at all. The veal was great as was the pasta meals. The pizzas are a little too like Domino’s pizza for my liking but that’s perfect for the kids on the table.We had the house wine as well which was reasonable and everyone had fun without having to worry too much about the kids who were misbehaving a little.

If you are in Alice, you HAVE to try this authentic restaraunt.Everything is so fresh. The service is fantastic. The brushetta pizza is so bloody delicious and the spaghettiMarinara was yum.10/10.

SAVE YOUR MONEY + eat somewhere else. Only giving 2 stars because the garlic bread was decent.Ordered Olive Bread, Garlic Bread, Al’s Special + Penne. It was just not good. Lacked any flavor, tasted like sauce straight out of the jar but somehow worse. Save your money and make better Italian food at home with a homemade recipe.
