Good supply of building materials, and will order what they don't have in stock. Staff seem knowledgeable about their products. Unfortunately stocked hardware is limited.

A wonderful alternative to mainstream hardware shops.The range of materials on offer is a bit different to other shops, they stock unusual architectural materials along with very reasonably priced merchant grade products.Once you enter the store it is obvious that it is a budget orientated business with no frills specialising in hardware materials and they don't stock loads of power tools, electrical or plumbing products.They have another section called The Bunker and they look after the larger more industrial items like concrete reinforcing mesh, steel beams and the like.The business started out trading in recycled materials and developed into what it is now over a period of decades.They have knowledgeable staff who are keen to assist.

Rude unprofessional phone service , my husband who is a builder rang to enquire about purchasing a lot of timber . We have spent literally thousands of dollars with a great previous employee who gave us a good deal on pricing because we had been long term customers .When my husband enquired about the best price , which is a standard query in this industry, some smart..se scoffed and said “ we don’t give any of that discount stuff”??? So, needless to say we wouldn’t buy a single thing from this establishment any longer and wouldn’t recommend it either . Such a shame the courteous,polite professional service is considered unnecessary by whoever this person was. Disgraceful.

Very disappointed in the quality of the wood i purchased.And very disappointed in the staff member (Mark) that was very rude while my 4 year old son was there! And he refused to sell me the the quality of wood that i wanted!I would never recommend these to anyone!Mark needs to learn good customer service!Very very poor!But other staff member were great!

The most friendly and helpful staff you could hope for. Very attentive, give you updates as you need them about orders, and are always happy to help in any way they can. They have a good range, and if they don’t stock it, they usually know who does.

Excellent range and supply of local and imported timbers, a wide selection of mouldings for wide skirting boards, mpst obliging and helpful staff who are willing to advise and inform customers, even those who are obviously not tradesmen or professionals.
