Philip Shaw Wines

We had the best time wine tasting today. Ashley welcomed us with a big smile and gave us a choice of tables to sit at. The tasting is supposed to be 45 minutes but we stayed 90 minutes. We had the very tasty cheese platter and 11 wines to try. The servings were generous and the commentary was entertaining. The decor is absolutely enchanting and on a sunny day it was perfect. We bought two bottles only as we are traveling in a motor home and storage is an issue. But we truly liked many of their wines.We are seriously considering their club membership as it is the most sensible we have been offered after touring many wineries around Australia.This winery is a gem not to be missed.

If you simply want to taste the wine then this is the place for you. The food was nice and the wine was good, but it was disappointing to have pre booked a tasting to have wine poured into the glass without being told which wine was which, and then the person walked away without telling us anything about the wine or the winery. Our disappointment was compounded by seeing other tables being given a proper background on the wines and Philip Shaw by a different staff member who seemed to be much more engaged, experienced and informative. We won’t be back.

I’ve been to a few wineries around Australia. Philip Shaw is lacking in a few aspects. I don’t think getting your tasting for free or off your wine purchase when you buy is unreasonable, get some staff who are invested in wine & hospitality & be welcoming to your punters, they pay the bills. Sorry I wouldn’t recommend you to others.

An amazing Cellar Door and grounds!The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the wines were exceptional.We’ll definitely be back.

Lovely place. Luke really looked after us well. Dog friendly and they even came inside with us and there's 2 cellar dogs Coco and Boots to keep doggos entertained. Great wine. Lovely out door as well.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a winery and I must say, it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm and inviting atmosphere of the winery. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but the real highlight of our visit was being served by Lulu.Lulu was an exceptional host who made us feel welcome and comfortable from start to finish. Her knowledge of the wines was extensive, and she took the time to explain the nuances of each one we tasted. She had a way of making us feel like we were the only customers in the room, even though the winery was quite busy that day.The wines themselves were outstanding. From the crisp and refreshing whites to the full-bodied reds, every glass we tasted was a treat for the senses. Each wine had its own unique character, and it was clear that the winemakers put a great deal of care and attention into every bottle they produced.But beyond the wine itself, the atmosphere of the winery was a delight. The tasting room was beautifully decorated, with plenty of seating options that added to the cozy ambiance. The views from the winery were stunning, with rolling hills and vineyards stretching out as far as the eye could see.Overall, I would highly recommend this winery to anyone looking for a memorable wine-tasting experience. And if you're lucky enough to be served by Lulu, you're in for a real treat. She truly made our visit one to remember.

I recently photographed a beautiful wedding at Philip Shaw Wines and was really impressed with everything. The couple had their wedding ceremony at a local church, but we did wedding photos and had the wedding reception at Philip Shaw Wines. The grounds are large and beautiful and there are lots of different locations and backdrops which makes it really interesting in photos.The reception was modern and rustic and was absolutely perfect for this wedding. The food was amazing and the staff were outstanding. It was a great experience and an awesome wedding. Can't wait to get back there to shoot more weddings.

Friendly staff, plenty of parking and dog friendly. We visited with out little pup Pippa and they had a little dog bowl for water for her. The wines are delicious, their chardonnay's are great! They've also got little cheese plates as well. We loved the outdoor area as well.

Philip Shaw wines is a stunning location that is dog friendly!! We were served by the lovely Lulu who was so attentive to our wine preferences and showcased some of Philip Shaw’s best. The experience was delightful and reflective of the quality wines the family produces for wine lovers. Highly recommend!
