Moving is not easy or fun. Luckily, James and Brad from The Moving Man made our move a dream. They evaluated the house and then stacked the van like a jigsaw puzzle it was amazing to watch. They were helpful, careful, fast and made the day an enjoyable experience. Thanks heaps!

We are so pleased we engaged the services of The Moving Man. The guys arrived at their appointed time, they worked quickly and efficiently and delivered all of our furniture to our new address in a timely manner and without incident or damage to our belongings. We recommend them and would use them again if we moved.

Needed a city to country move and Frank and his team were fantastic. Excellent communication throughout the process and Tristan and Nick were fantastic on the day loading and unloading with efficiency.Would highly recommend The Moving Man.

I’m glad that we choose the moving man to help us with the moving. At first glance their price was not the most competitive but I got convinced by the good reviews, and thank god I made the right choice. We’ve got Josh and Brendon started around midday. They just finished a big job in the morning but they still kept their high professional skills and attitude for the entire 6 hours of moving. They not just worked hard but really smart as well. Without their amazing space management skills there is no way we could pack everything in one truck, which saved my cost on travel. They are careful, fit and super easy to work with. I was impressed that moving from 2 storey to 2 storey, not a single scratch were made on the walls or furniture. It worth every single dollar you spend on their service. Strongly recommended and will definitely use them again.

Negligent. Unprofessional. Fast. Expensive.My partner and I chose the services of this business while I was working away and this was her experience;I booked a removal service with The Moving Man in July based on the amount of positive reviews they have received, but I am gutted and thoroughly disappointed with how I have been treated by the company as a customer who has made a complaint about the negligent work of the removalists I hired. I booked a packing and removal service with this company. Karyn, the receptionist was awesome and kept me in the loop with all changes that occurred. The packing service was great, quick and efficient. The removalists were quick, but they refused to pack my TV in the box it came with and I let it go with the assumption that they knew what they were doing, which was an error on my part as after the move I didn’t get around to checking the TV for two days as I was busy unpacking. When I turned the screen on, there was significant damage to the LED screen where a removalist had applied pressure while lifting the item leaving a thumbprint and the television was not working. The backlight showed a crack which went 42cm along the screen and 18cm down the screen.I immediately informed the company to resolve this but was given a range of excuses by the management who backed their workers and blamed the broken TV on “accidental damage caused by the load shifting during transit” and told me:• As a company, they are not liable for accidental damage that happens to property during transit which is why they recommend taking out cartage insurance.• the only way to carry a modern TV is by picking it up by the screen to carry it.• modern TVs only weigh around 15-16kg and it is suitable that TVs only be carried by one removalist (mine weighed 20kg).• removalists do not usually use the original box as they have to dismantle the TV and it can be difficult to put it back in the box because of the polystyrene.• They apologised for the damage to the television but reiterated that there is nothing more they can do.I disagreed with the claim that the big fingerprint mark left on the TV by a removalist which happens to be right where the screen is damaged constituted “accidental damage” due to the load shifting during transit but rather negligence when handling the TV and made a complaint with Consumer Protection where I was met with further excuses by the company. While I could take the company to Magistrate’s Court or get the police or media involved, this company is just not worth expending more of my energy on. The move cost me $1700 which was doubled in replacing the TV. I have contacted other removalist companies in the Perth area who all said that when moving televisions, they use a two person lift and prefer to use the box the TV came in, or if it is not available, they wrap the screen in blankets or bubble wrap prior to transport.The professional handling of the situation by management was poor and their statement that “If we were are at fault through negligence or unprofessional work we are happy to make good on any problems” is untrue. Looking at the reviews that this company does have, it seems that the company spends too much time bullying and arguing with negative reviewers and not doing enough to ensure that when mistakes are made they are doing right by their customers. Be aware of these issues before you book a move.

Frank's boys arrived exactly on time! They were friendly, professional, courteous and very careful with our goods. The service provided everything I could have hoped for. I will certainly use them again and will refer them to friends and family.

Update: I just used these guys again to move. We were moving only a few doors down, and James and Colby did a great job, moving everything I had in less than three hours, so very cheap. They were friendly, worked hard and carefully, and I would again recommend their service to anyone.My last review: Paul and James moved my 3 bedroom house yesterday. They worked incredibly hard and with care, not to mention being very friendly and polite. I'd recommend this company to anyone who wants to reduce the stress of moving and have confidence that the job will be done with care.

Frank was a lifesaver. After being let down by another company, he organised two of his boys for the day after we called him in a panic.They were on time, worked incredibly hard and were so careful with furniture that needed to be brought down a tight staircase.
