***Update***I wanted to update this initial below review from last year. After this review Ole finally came out and fixed the squeaky joint in our lovely chair. It has now been almost a year and we still love the chairs, which remain squeak-free and great to use.****I wish I could write a different review. My wife and I recently purchased a beautiful set of vintage chairs and ottoman. The sales experience was a little high pressure for my liking, but the real concerns were post-purchase. First one of the two chairs were delivered with screws missing from the base. I only realised this once it became clear that the chair squeaked with little movement. When I called to let the owners of the store know they came to my house, which is just a block away from their store to fix the screws.Unfortunately, they did not speak with us at any length after placing the screws and Ole (one of the owners) was rude and abrupt with both my wife and myself. When I called back to complain that the joint was still loose and squeaky, I was offered a refund and told to expect as much from old furniture.After trying to tighten the screws myself a few weeks later and remedy the problem I called back to say that the joint was still loose and squeaky. Again the owner was rude: What do you want me to do?" He spoke to me in a condescending manner and I explained that 7/8 joints were tight. Couldn't we just fix the 8th?Initially he said it couldn't be fixed. And then he told me to spray soap and water in the joint

I visited the shop and was greeted by Janette,who educated me on the various Danish designs.She was amazing and dealing with her was like dealing with an old friend. The products were amazing and typical Danish simplicity and class. Very additive place and a hidden gem. A MUST place to visit

Even though I didn't know Jeanette (except for a phone call) confidence quickly developed to buy a $5000 desk without seeing it beyond online. To this day the desk remains my favourite piece of furniture. The desk is vintage and was masterfully restored by Danish Red. Great range of Danish furniture in a lovely store and personal service from the small team. When our custom-made sideboard arrived from Denmark it needed a little adjusting and Ole promptly came over and did it in person with no fuss.
