Caulfield Fish & Chips
We’ve been coming here for years for grilledfish and chips. The staff always provide great service. It was amazing however then it went through a stage where the fish was undersized and over cooked. We complained / gave feedback and then we moved on. We were offered free food but we didn’t take up the offer, we told them our disappointment out of respect for the owner. After a number of months we returned to give it a go and it was great again! Good to see! We’ll come back, we like backing local establishments.

Great value fish & chips - generous servings of chips and tartare sauce and lemon included in the packs!Chips were well cooked and salted and the fish was nice and crispy. I'd avoid the potato cakes as they didn't have much flavour, but the calamari was great.Very friendly staff and happy to help and explain the menu to you!

I ordered fired Barramundi but the fish taste different, it seems like Flake.. over cooked sweet potatoes, fried dim sims were ok calamari rings were not crispy.. just wanted to try because it is near my house but will never go back.

We always love supporting our local shops but unfortunately Caulfield fish and chips has let us down again. The batter was again over cooked to dark brow and in places black. This is not pleasant to eat. Tonight the fish was not as its freshest- usually white and fresh but not this time. I think we are done this time - so wish they would take note of this and address it. Images on the website do not show the batter like this. It is expensive now and half has gone in the bin.

Great friendly local store . Open at 11am and fast service .Meal was ready in 10 minutes.The scallops is amazing and fish bites fresh.Note: Less or no sale on fries + fries need a bit more improvement.

Got Fish and Chips with Calamari delivered to my home from this place. Had an amazing experience overall.The packing was very good.The food was hot.The additional effort by putting a smiley face on the package makes a lot of difference.Keep it up!!

Very disappointed. Ordered 3 flake and medium chips only. Could not believe on pick up the cost was $49. Extremely POOR value. Was NOT told the price over the phone. Very ordinary tasting chips and flake. Will not go back again. Much more reasonable prices at your local pub (and you will get tartare sauce there) or any Bentleigh fish n chip shop.

Very expensive with small serving sizes, the quality is ok. $16.90 for a burger with the “lot” that’s barely bigger than a Big Mac and $10 for “regular” chips which was not enough for two (given how small the burgers were). Worth the extra 5 mins up the road to go to Bills.To the owner: those prices are what I paid on your website when ordering pick up. You got the extra star because of the quality, but it’s not that good to justify the serving size and cost.

Caulfied Fish and Chips have the best seafood choices. Every dish I've tasted has been delicious. Dim sims are my favorite, definitely worth the try!
