Tina's Dumpling House
The dumplings here i found to be unique and delicious, lovely crispy batter. The sechuan sauce came with a huge portion of peanut paste mixed in, which tasted good but too much peanut sauce dampened the sechuan chilli flavours. Spicy crispy chicken actually was really good with that sechuan sauce combo. Overall a good meal and atmosphere.

We went for lunch on a Sunday. Group of 10Pros:1. Great location2 outdoor seating great for a good sunny day3. Reasonable pricesCons:1. Restaurant seemed to be short staffed so service was poor2. Food was average except for Peking Duck which was yummy3. No plates provided and felt rushed

Where: AltonaWho: Tina's Dumpling HouseWhat: Asian Cuisine with special dumpling listMet some friends here for a last minute catch up on a Thursday for lunch.Venue was much larger than expected, with inside booths lining one wall and tables that run the depth of the inside and outdoor picnic bench style seating under umbrellas over astro turf.The staff were lovely and attentive.We bought our own wine but their is a decent cocktail list also available.Food came out quickly and I thought it was good. Better than I was expecting. My wonton and noodle soup was delicious.Servings were good size also.We had a long lunch and felt very relaxed and full by the end of it. Would happily return and dine here.

The seafood noodles presentation is average, tastes average. The chicken prawn dumplings are ok. And i had to wait for 20 minutes to get the food after placing order at 4pm.

This was a nice cosy restaurant. I actually enjoyed the food. I thought the fish was cut in an awesome way where my husband and I were able to pick and dip into the sweet and sour sauce. Their Mongolian beef is the best I've had here in Melbourne. Staff are friendly and we got good service

The chicken was not cooked properly & we sent it back. It came back half an hour later and had been microwaved. It was so tough we could not bite it. Management were not concerned in regards to the under cooked chicken or customer satisfaction. Would not recommend this place, if you choose to eat here make sure the food, especially chicken and pork are cooked properly

Despite tasty food, the service here keeps getting worse, and it's very disappointing. Staff laziness often makes tasks so noisy they disrupt the atmosphere and have everyone looking, food is slow to come out and not brought out together, and despite stating an allergy when requesting an ingredient not be included, the allergen was still in the dish. Sechuan sauce is strange here, as is their method of pan-frying dumplings, but spring onion pancake, fried rice and some other dishes are flavourful.
