Lake House

Absolutely loved our stay here. We were a group of 4 girlfriends having a 3 night break from mum life. This was exactly what we needed. Highlight was the food and wine. The setting on the lake is very beautiful and calming.

Great nature escape! Stayed for a couple nights a bit ago. The rooms are lovely! They left lavender oil on my pillow and were always providing little touches to make your stay more special. Great massage! The highlight however was the food and exceptional wine list. Had a private dining experience in The Cellar space and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great Australian hotel!

Everything about Lake House is amazing. The dinner obviously, the rooms are really nice and the service is great.I want to give a special shout out to the breakfast pastries though. They are seriously the best I have probably had in Australia! People queue for hours for Lune, they should be queuing here instead. Definitely give the team who makes them a pay rise.

Had a wonderful stay at the lake house. The service was the best we have received so far in Australia. Believe the hype, the restaurant is truly amazing. Attention to detail with every dish was incredible and the service to match that. We also enjoyed the farm visit, it was quite informative. The rooms could have been better but no complaints. This place is not kids friendly, all the options here are focused on couples. I would love if they can make it more family friendly.

The best country food and ambience! Must visit place if you're in Dalesford or passing by! Food and service is amazing, I was there for one of my friends engagement and I was surprised by the quality of food and ambience it offered specially being in the outskirts of Melbourne. If you're after a retreat or a family function this is the place!

Fantastic experience! We thoroughly enjoyed our four-course lunch at Lakes House restaurant. We used a gift voucher for this booking, and we were absolutely delighted by the beautifully cooked and presented meals. The endless selection of drinks complemented the dining experience perfectly, the excellent service provided by the staff made our lunch even more special. We look forward to dining here again next time we are back in Daylesford.

We recently stayed at the property for two nights. This was one of the best experiences we’ve had in the recent times!Hotel: We checked in late the first day, host was still there and welcomed us with a great spirit. The property is very calming in itself. The room decor was lavish and rustic, definitely a sense of personal touch just like home but with great views! We had a pool front studio and the views were just too dreamy!Lakehouse Restaurant: the breakfast spread was good. Have enough options for any dietary requirement. The place serves some great views again while you enjoy your morning coffee.The dinner was the highlight of our stay. The staff were warm and attentive. The food was brilliant, some of the dishes were better beyond expectations. Wine suggestion was spot on.Overall service and food is impeccable. If you’re visiting soon, you’re in for a great time!

Luxurious accommodation in a beautiful setting by Lake Daylesford. The renowned 2-hat restaurant is everything you would expect, with superb food and a wine list to match. The service, too, is second to none, with friendly, committed and passionate staff throughout the large complex. A real treat. Worth the expense at least once in your life.

We have been coming back to the Lakehouse for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. On every occasion, we've been made to feel special and very much valued. The menu was well balanced and our meals exceptional. We will certainly be back

We came here for my birthday & we had the 4 course menu. Everything was amazing, the food was super tasty & beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the Harpuka fish special. A nice touch with the birthday lollipops. The service was great , Thomas & unfortunately I did not get the other staff members name who served us made the night even better. Great job. We've eaten here before & we will be back again. Thanks
