I contacted Alan today for the first time after hearing about his expertise just last Friday as I had an issue with one of my professional lenses. Stopped by Taree Camera Centre on my way through town. Decided to pop my head in and see if they had any analog film cameras for sale and indeed they do!Alan Small is a wealth of knowledge and wisdom related to all things photography. Taree is lucky to have access to a man like this, with his rich history and passion. Thank you for taking the time to have a chat with me, take me through a history of photography and sharing some of your images Alan.And yes, I ended up leaving with a pristine condition, Canon AE-1P from 1981 for a price better than anywhere I've seen online, coupled with Alan's seal of approval this is now a priceless instrument in my arsenal.
