Dr Haydar Ozcan

I visited Dr Ozcan with an ingrown toenail that just kept coming back. He discovered not only the ingrown nail issue but also a bone growing and pushing on the nail itself. At all times he was right on with his diagnosis and recommended I undergo day surgery to have both issues addressed at the same time. I did the procedure at Crows Nest and everyone was excellent from the moment I entered to when I left. The entire procedure was completely painless and I cant thank Dr Ozcan and his professional team enough for providing me with a perfect end result. I have no hesitation in recommending anyone with a toe or foot related issue to this very professional team of people.

After spending years to try and find an answer to my heel problem I was finally able to get it from Dr Ozcan at my initial consultation. I found him to be very informative and he spent time explaining everything to me about the surgery I would require. He also repaired my bunions which I had on my other foot. His staff are also very friendly and helpful. My follow up care was just as amazing. I cannot recommend Dr Ozcan enough for the care I received from him.

My experience with Dr Haydar Ozcan was amazing. He is an extremely knowledgeable and professional surgeon who made me feel very comfortable and excited about my surgery. The timing was well-paced as I was in surgery a month after my consult.Dealing with William and the team was also very amazing. This is a team with amazing communication skills and were always there to answer hesitant questions I had on numerous occasions. They truly are a great team and great people. Dr Ozcan is one of the best doctor's I've ever come across, the level of professionalism, knowledge, experience and comfort he showed me from the start to finish is nothing short of amazing (I had a flat foot reconstruction surgery) Which is a complicated procedure. I have visited a few so called 'specialists' before him and they agreed the only way to fix my foot was to remove all flexibility and make it rigid. Which sounded pretty stupid tbh as it meant i couldn't continue working my current job, but Dr Ozcan gave me hope and it was the best decision I have made. Thank you Dr Ozcan for giving life to my foot again!

I was originally referred to Dr Ozcan through a family friend. She exhausted all avenues in her research to find the best in the business and has been extremely happy with the results from her procedure performed by Dr Ozcan 10 years ago. It made it easy for me to choose the same surgeon. Six weeks ago I had a bilateral bunionectomy. I walked into day surgery and walked out the same day. The procedure went as planned and I've been recovering amazingly well ever since. Dr Ozcan's explanation of the procedure prior to surgery was kindly detailed and his work speaks itself post surgery. I was amazed how he transformed my feet back to normal after the bandages were redressed after the first week. I'd gladly recommend Dr Ozcan to any family member looking for a foot surgeon.

Dr Ozcan deserves more than 5 stars in this review. This guy absolutely takes pride in what he does.After suffering many years with pain in both my feet, and not liking how my feet looked like, words cant express how happy I am that I booked a consult with Dr Ozcan.From day one I knew that he was my chosen surgeon. Not only is he professional and informative but he has an impeccable bed side manner. He actually cares about the patient. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, he makes you feel comfortable and at ease. You just know your in the right hands. I didn’t even bother getting a second opinion, thats how certain I was. I felt so reassured. He is definitely confident in what he is able to do. If anyone has any feet issues, Dr Ozcan is the person to see. I wouldn’t bother going anywhere else.My surgery went so smoothly and both Dr Ozcan and receptionist were contactable if any issues arose.Im now 2 months out of surgery and even though I still have some minor swelling as full recovery is 6 months to a year, I am already loving the results. I have come across a patient who has had extensive surgery performed on both feet by Haydar Ozcan. The surgery was not clinically indicated and the patient who is in their 20s will have to live with the injury for the rest of their life.I'm surprised that Podiatrists are allowed to perform surgery in Australia, but with all the 5 star reviews, he must be doing something right.I recommend anyone considering surgery to get a second opinion. In Australia, surgeons have the qualification FRACS and foot/ankle surgeons are members of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

I can honestly say Dr Haydar has gone above and beyond my expectations he is extremely professional and knowledgeable in his field of work. Dr Haydar's bed side manner and professionalism is second to none. I can never thank him enough for giving me a better quality of life. From living in pain everyday to having no pain at all is absolutely overwhelming in itself.Being one of his more complex cases and having a longer recovery because of the complexity I can definitely say my surgery and recovery went better than I had expected.
