Ballina Colonial Motel

absolutely disgusted. booked for 4 people and 2 bed, to get to reception show what we booked and be told we didn’t book it. was spoken to appallingly and was then refused my refund and bond. wouldn’t recommend.

Room was nice and clean, beds comfy and the bathroom recently renovated. Best bathroom we've encountered on our trip. Owner was lovely and gave us a membership card for the Bowling club down the road for a discount at dinner.

The owners of the motel were lovely and friendly and very helpful. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. Highly recommended accommodation.

My young daughter stayed here with her friend after being stuck at the airport from a cancelled flight. Just amazing service and a commitment to customer service that is rare these days. The owners ensured they were able to arrive safely ( very late) and I was very appreciative of how much they cared. Should always support a business like this from genuine people because it's hard to find. From all accounts the rooms were clean and spot on. Was well priced and in a great location. Will certainly check it out on my next motorbike trip and thanks again.

Avoid this Place, Managed by an absolutely Karen, arrogant, definitely a nasty experience to stay there, never ever again

Great friendly service and clean rooms.

My friends currently stayed here in hopes of celebrating their honeymoon .They paid in excess of 1000 dollars for a few nights.They only ended up staying and sleeping for 5 hours as the accommodation they were given was not as advertised.The full payment already being coerced from them.After a discussion which of course was going to become heated when my friends asked for a refund they relocated to another motel.They were told that plates and cutlery were not included.This seems to be confusing as every motel or hotel I have stayed it has been inclusiveI have recommended my friends contact consumer fair trading and the hotel motel head governing body with the information of the lack of service they received.

Very clean and caring.Took wonderful care of my 90 year old parents who were stranded in Ballina due to flooding. My parents stayed a night and felt so comfortable and so well cared for.I can't thank Ballina Colonial Motel enough!Kirsten

Fabulous place to stay! Thanks for letting us lock up our bikes. This was a great spot for us as we could ride around Ballina and visit friends. We have stayed in some very ordinary places on river street over the years but we are happy to call this place our second home. We loved being close to the shops too.

Had a lovely stay here for oneNight on our way home to Sydney. The lady who owns it gave me directions to a local park for my son to run off some energy. Would stay here again
