City Chicks

Would strongly suggest you do not buy from here. I’ve had personal bad experiences including getting sold a special needs chicken that died soon after the sale (it was $90!) I’ve been sold other things that have died within 24 hours despite everything being perfect for them. I’ve also known people that have purchased chickens from here and then found out they all were sick with a respiratory infections and then had a bunch die from the issue. Her pricing is absolutely ridiculous particularly if your paying for something that’s not going to live. I’ve also seen “day old chicks” sitting there for a week without there being a change in advertisement and were still called “day old”. Living conditions are horrible despite what she might try and lead you to believe (hence the sick chickens). I strongly suggest you get in contact with a local breeder if you want good quality chickens, that aren’t going to die, proper advertisement, good advice and reasonable prices. Ingrid and her Team were absolutely amazing! Helped my daughter find just the right temperament chickens for her. We even went back for 1 more chicken. Ingrid has exceptional knowledge and helped us choose all the care products right for us. Very grateful for their patience and care with my daughter. We have found lovely chickens that will be a loving part of our family. Thank you!

We had an excellent visit here. Picked up four chicks a year ago - they’ve grown up to be healthy, beautiful hens. Ingrid was extremely helpful when one of the little chicks fell ill early on. Thank you folks!

City Chicks provided us 6 beautiful Silkies. Service and follow up was great. We are now going back to purchase some Australian Bees as well. The bespoke honey was a great and interesting taste. My nephews loved the paddock, and the 2 turkeys. They thought they were great! Thanks, Tngrid!

One of my girls had a problem with her eye and City Chicks kindly advised me on what to do. I was quite worried and they quickly put my mind at ease! I'm looking forward to visiting the store soon!

Love this place, Ingrid was ever so helpful with buying chickens and was happy to share her wealth of information with us.Also she kindly talked me through splitting our native bee's. Then she went one step further and gave me her mobile and said if you have issues with the chickens or your a little unsure with the bee's, s just call.There website also had so much information, I was absolutely impressed. What a beautiful place to visit in Samford. I’m so glad I stopped by. City chicks has a lot of chicken variety that I have never seen before. Absolutely beautiful and clean and plenty of supply as well as gifts. The lady that run the store is lovely and pleasant. Lots of parking at the back

Awesome experience, Ingrid was great with communication regarding my two new hens and being able to accommodate what i was after. Also the young girl on the day i picked up the hens was fantastic, great service and knowledge. Overall great experience.

What a wonderful place to visit! Especially with children. We purchased some gorgeous little silkies from Ingrid at City Chicks and were so impressed with the service. The animals were all very well cared for and the staff super friendly and knowledgeable. I even emailed afterwards with some questions and Ingrid was super helpful and wanted to know how the little silkies were doing, she genuinely cares about the animals she sells and it really shows. We will definitely be back! Thanks City Chicks :)
