Dont believe the negative reviews, I was here 3 days ago and the quality was very good, and best prices of fish and chips in the nearest 50kms for sure.The chips are possibly double fried, very crispy and a good amount of chicken salt (not scant salt like others do for some reason.. I mean why don't they just give the right salt ratio!)This place understands fish and chips!!! Its cheap and crispy and salty goodness that we want to indulge in once in a while.I even got a free drink as it was my first time visiting, the owners are very friendly

Very friendly stuff. They gave us a drink for free when they notice we have no drinks at hand. We left some coins in the cup, That's the best feelings between people, warm and be cared.

We love GFC! It’s the best fish and chips in Sydney, and we’ve been coming here for years! Very affordable, the owners are super friendly and lovely, the calamari is great and the chips are something special. Ask for them well-cooked for the best fluffy-on-the-inside-crispy-on-the-outside experience! Always going to be our go to fish and chips. Thank you GFC.

We came because of the reasonable reviews but were instantly unsure when we walked in. Unsurprisingly, we were not impressed by our fish and chips. The chips were the best part, which we both described as average (oily mashed potato in chip shape) while the fish was mushy and the batter overdone. We both agree that we expected the fish to be more fresh and flakey and the chips to be crispier.

Amazing value and good food!The fish cocktail was marinated and fried so well, fish was still super juicy. Generous portions and very very affordable. The owner was incredibly nice and it’s so handy they also offer to take back 10c containers!

Oil is too brownish and calamities which i had are too deeply friend and felt like eating dried grass. And fish cocktail, seafood stick all are way too much cooked. Oil is dark brown in color, not that great experience.
