An oasis on the PDR, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice hot showers with clean facilities.

A little bush town north of Lakeland on the Peninsular Development Road. I really enjoyed this little bit of Aussi bush. The shop owner comes out every afternoon with a container of seed for the local birds. An experience to see 100s of Galahs waiting on the powerlines and roof edges then all fly down at once for tucker.

I am indebted to Laura motel for letting me stay when I was stranded because of the flooded Laura river. .and rescuing me from a sad job. .it's comfortable and equipped with all you need and the owner is someone very special. .Harold and Jenny are lovely people. ..

Clean rooms, good value and friendly owners, who also own the General Store across the street. Best place in town as the other two have repeatedly come across unfriendly.

Incomparable experience. Proprietors, Harold and Jenny are rare, truly salt-of-the-earth people, who 'can do' and always deliver the best. They are truly invaluable because people such as Harold and Jenny are now rare. Housekeepers, Lesley and Joe epitomise customer service excellence. Not only did they respond with pleasure to any request but were proactive in anticipating and meeting needs. Laura Motel is so much more than an ultra clean room and hot shower. It is reaffirmation that the very best people one can ever meet are right there. I have travelled the world and know that for all the trappings, it is the people who make the experience. Harold, Jenny, Lesley and Joe make the experience. The Laura Motel is a must.

The best rooms in town ,Very clean and beds are comfy. The store is across the road and is very well stocked. The pub is next to it and has very good meals. Great place to visit and very frendly.

The best place in Laura for a stopover night or two.Good value, late arrivals without any fuss. Simply a call to arrange.Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and above all, clean.

Beautiful rooms equipped with everything you need and store opposite for your meals. Laura motel is a great place to stay when the river is flooded and you are stuck. .I am very grateful for the hospitality I got and appreciative. Thank you xx
