The team at Wignells Abbotsford is wonderful. They were so helpful, patient and kind when I needed advice and spare parts when I was doing some general maintenance on my 10 year old Cheminees Philippe fireplace. It is back to looking brand new again!

Tried to buy 2 x fireplaces from Wignell's. Great in-store service by the salesman. We were told the installer would be in touch to give installation quote. After 2 weeks of following him up for quote, still nothing. Found alternative installer who has been great so decided to proceed with the order. Rang the store to proceed and asked for estimated delivery time. Got the invoice in about 2 minutes but no information on delivery times. Rang the store again and spoke to manager who gave pure lip service and still no delivery estimate. We have cancelled order because if pre-sale service is this bad not worth proceeding. Would not recommend.

I spoke with John at Wignells , enquiring about a replacement gas fireplace. The gas installer was sent to discuss options and a unit was selected.John was amazing, I paid the depost, then due to issues had to cancel the order. John refunded it that day and was so generous about our situation.Things resolved. Went back to John and purchased the unit. I was supported all the way through installation by their Ray who kept in regular contact - always answering my call with queries and delays due to renovations.My experience with Wignells and the installation process was fantastic! Supportive, responsive and quality workmanship.

poor customer service - they don't understand the guildelines (according to their own advice, NONE of the fireplaces in their brochures are compliant), and when we called to discuss, got told 'I'm with a customer, will have to call back'. why did you answer the phone/ why didn't you say so at the beginning of the call. don't waste your time, go somewhere else.

No hard sell, but very good advice saw us shift from budget only steel fireplaces to the Morso cast iron fireplace. There is some criticism on the reviews about organising your own trades, John recommended one installer whom was very polite and left us with a brilliant quality installation in a challenging location for a fair price, yes we had to chase and organise the date with the installer but that is the way the industry works and the outcome was worth the time and effort. Wignell's worked with the installer to make sure all the necessary parts were ready and supplied, it was seamless as we let them in and returned after work to an amazing new fireplace. The Morso 6643 model fireplace is super efficient with three red gum split logs lasting over 90mins to 2hours. The heat radiated over the two storey space is amazing for only this amount of fuel.

Wignells gave me the greatest customer service. I contacted Wignells with an unusual request thinking that it was a long shot. However, Wendy took the time to help and found the solution I needed. If you need something these folks sell, don't hesitate. Wignells is a gem. I'm happy to have found them.

We purchased a Lopi Rockport through John at Wignells Abbotsford. John was brilliant all the way through the process from advising on the unit, to arranging installation and following up to ensure we were indeed happy with our purchase. The heater is brilliant, and the service provided by John was even better. Thank you John for all your care and assistance, I will happily refer anyone wanting a wood fire heater onto you.

Excellent service, today was a breath of fresh air dealing with the team at the Wignalls Blackburn shop. The service people went out of their way to ensure we received quality and engaging service. I couldn’t recommend the team highly enough! If you want a fireplace this is your shop! Needless to say we purchased a new fireplace !!
