Very compassionate receptionist who assisted me in having my cockateil put to sleep. I was not ready to let him go. I so appreciate the person's kindness to the distraught customer that came before her on that day.

If I could give a million stars I would ! They treated our 17 year old pup Bonnie with such care and respect and us as a grieving family with so much love. Eamonn is an extraordinary human.My Bonnie had a peaceful passing after years of care from all at this practice.Thankyou

Bernadette and Eamon are both superb in every way. As are all the staff and nurses.I have been taking all my fur kids there for over 20 years. Eamon's bedside manner is not for everyone, but he is super knowledgeable and a great vet!Bernadette is just the sweetest and treats your animal like her own!Cannot rate them all highly enough!!!!! 11/10!!

Eamonn and Bernadette are great vets - caring, kind and excellent practitioners. The vet nurses all have pleasant personalities.

We waited (outside) for over an hour which is to be expected but it was raining and they had no seats for us under cover. My dog is 6 years old and I’ve never had a vet that she’s seen that has been so rude and impatient. She stood to be weighed but the vet wanted her to sit which he made an issue of, saying she needed better training. It only took two tries to weigh her. I explained that she was anxious. When he was examining her, he was grabbing her paws and I explained that she hates her paws being held but he insisted and put a muzzle on her. She wasn’t making any noise or Being snappy, just pulling her paws away and moving around in distress. He continued to do the one thing I told him she doesn’t like and grabbed her paws until she jumped off the table. He told me ‘he doesn’t have time for it’ and walked to the door. I was in shock so I thanked him for his time as he opened the door and we left. She was cold and anxious from the wait which any other vet would have understanding and kindness for. I am in disbelief… If they didn’t have time for us, they should have told me and I would have saved myself the stress of waiting in the cold, sitting down on the concrete and then how he treated me and my dog!

If you’re looking for a genuine honest reliable vet that cares about your pet then go see these guys. In short 3 veterinarians at another vet did not know what was wrong with my cat and kept misdiagnosing him over a 2 months period. I walked in for a second opinion and the veterinarian diagnosed him in literally 3 mins from when I put him on the table. The same day organised a next day surgery appointment to have some infected teeth removed. Next day arrived 8:37am, 12:45pm lunch time I had a call that he was out of surgery and well, pick him up at 5:30pm. 2 months of pain and suffering by a popular vet Greencross compared to 24 hours problem fixed paid and done. The price was more than reasonable and the staff were caring and helpful. Well done my cat has a new vet to go to now. Don’t waste your time or money at other vets go straight to PVH.

Could not thank enough the staff at peakhurst vet for their care of our old boy Sooty in his last weeks and days. Every effort was made to allow him a good quality of life for as long as possible. Special thanks to Eamonn who rearranged his day to allow us to bring our boy in a bit earlier in the day so as to not drag it out when the time came. Full respect was shown by the staff for our boys dignity and our need for some time to greive. The staff here care and it shows.
