Deborah Taylor - Celebrant

Deborah let me know 1 week out from our wedding that she would no longer be performing the ceremony, she had arranged a friend of hers to do the ceremony instead, however I was under the impression that we would not get to meet this friend prior to the wedding. We were very understanding and found somebody else to do the ceremony, Deborah seemed to take offence at us not using her friend for the ceremony and has refused to return our deposit because we used someone else's services. After consulting a few people in the celebrant industry they all agreed that her not refunding us after letting us down a week out from the wedding day was ridiculous, especially given the lack of work that she had put in (we went to her home for the initial meeting to sign some stuff, and she had put our names into her basic template of a ceremony run sheet and that was all)She become very rude and aggressive when I questioned her about not returning our refund.A warning to all the brides out there, you do really get what you pay for, we had a great celebrant in the end thankfully but we did have to pay more (plus the deposit that Deborah refused to return) but to save yourself the stress that we had to go through definitely do your research!

Deborah is a wonderful soul, she wrote my mother’s eulogy. Family and friends commented on the lovely prayer Deborah wrote. I would definitely use her again.

We are from Hong Kong and Deborah is a nice Celebrant who well prepared all the procedures for us before we had a long way travel to Brisbane. She arranged her two lovely friends to witness our wedding, we also enjoyed the Yum Cha after the marriage.

After chatting with Deborah Taylor on the phone, I knew she was the celebrant for us.Deb is very professional, but also knows how to have a good laugh, such a beautiful personality.Our day went so smoothly and we have Deb to thank for that.Deborah was willing to meet on many occasions and was always there to answer any of our questions.If you are looking for a professional celebrant with a great personality I highly reccomend Deborah Taylor.

We hired Deborah to be our celebrant for our wedding and from the absolute get go she has been amazing! She kept in contact, was willing to have multiple meetings or just chat if I had any questions at all. She seemed genuinely interested in getting to know my now husband and I to make sure that the experience was on a personal level and not just a stranger reading out words to us. I have to say that this made the world of difference to us. Deborah was always really organised making sure we knew exactly how things would run on the day and what paperwork needed to go where. Everyone I spoke to about our ceremony loved it, there was lots of love and laughter and I have to credit Deborah for that. So for brides and grooms out there, if you're looking for a celebrant that wants to get to know you and make sure your day is perfect then I cannot recommend Deborah enough.

I witnessed Deb perform and officiate a beautiful wedding on the Sunshine Coast. The quality of service was top-notch. She was attentive and flexible with the bride and grooms' needs. She even provided her own props and helped them set up. She maintains professionalism but also has a great sense of humor which kept the ceremony light and fun. I highly recommend Deb for any formal ceremony.

Deb was awesome!!! We would highly recommend Deb. Juston and i where nervous anout our ceremony but Deb made us feel comfortable and she also made it fun. She also listened to what we wanted. Our guests gave us great comments about how much they all liked Deb. She made our day special and one our kids wont forget. Thanks so much Deb you where awesome ☺️

As well as being an awesome Celebrant, Deb is also a wonderful seamstress. She has helped us out on many occasions and we love her witty sense of humour as well as her attention to detail. Would definitely recommend to all.
