The team here are all incredibly friendly and professional. The fridge is always stocked. I highly recommend them to anyone who's looking for a good cut or shave.

I first went to Code Black Barbers 2 years ago and I’ve never looked back since. Every haircut I get is exactly what I asked for and I couldn’t be any happier. Ashan is very detail oriented and always does a great job. Highly recommended

5 stars every time I go, have never had anything to complain about the owner os nice, the prices are reasonable for an upmarket cut, the barber ladies are really nice and the dog is also really friendly. The only thing missing is a loyalty scheme, I've been coming here for over a year now and would never consider changing places.

Overpriced and overrated.Walked into this place with baby son for his first haircut.As a barber shop, was not looking for or expecting a high end salon experience.Just a basic trim for us both.Minimum time and minimal fuss.Was unable to see any prices displayed and in most businesses, this usually occurs if there is something to hide.After a satisfactory haircut, we went to pay and were quoted $100!!!!When we questioned this exhorbitant price, the breakdown was $60 for an adult and $40 for a 1 year old baby.They don't take card (also not displayed) and we didn't have enough cash to pay.When the completely outrageous and undisplayed prices were again questioned, we were told 'Peace Brother', from a would be Dalai Lama prophet.Suffice to say, many non peaceful emotions were running high and it was clear this would not become a regular stop for our family.This establishment is empty most times we walk past and it is obvious why.Delusions of adequacy abound.

Laura is one of the best barbers (barberettes?) in Melbourne. Absolutely top tier, not only highly skilled but also a stellar human. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.

Barber was super friendly and attentive is his craft, so kudos there. But my appointment started 40mins late, the cut took around 45mins which would have been fine normally but including the waiting time I was in the barber for 1.5hrs. The haircut itself was slightly long and I could have got it shorter but didn't want to extend the 1.5hrs further. Following the haircut they didn't accept eftpos and I was expecting around $30-40, turned out to be $60. If you have plenty of time on your hands and enjoy sitting in barbers then it's recommended.

Total incompetence. This place has wrecked our holiday to australia. Didn’t test to see if the chemicals would harm my wife. She asked for ash colour hair... Now her hair looks like it was cut with a blowtorch, and she has blisters on her scalp. No refund just the offer of another crack at wrecking her hair again, trust me she won’t let this hack anywhere near her again.

Amazing atmosphere, service and cuts. Enjoyed kicking back to some great tunes! They even offer a free beer when you sit down in their chair! Makes getting getting my hair cut seem less like a chore.

Saint 157 is fantastic! Very friendly staff, clean environment and great tunes. Laura normally gives me a haircut and beard trim and she is nothing short of a perfectionist. She takes her time and makes sure she has everything done to such a high level. In addition the conversation is fun and the price is fair. Highly recommend :)

would give this place zero stars if I could. I brought my son here to get a hair cut and the barber absolutely butchered it. He had no idea what he was doing, gave him a bob and cut his fringe striaght across and super short so it sticks out.
