What a gem of a restaurant in the heart of Newtown! Absolutely recommended coming here, such a great vibe, great customer service and delicious food. Every dish was wonderful. Not a huge fan of the fish on toast or the Hummus, but everything else was just sooo good! I'll be back for sure.

Amazing food, ambience and service. Highlights were the mussels, fish toast and anchovy cigars. Place was beautifully dimly lit. Photos feature other dishes we got :)

Just been served by the most gorgeous human Mia. Her service was impeccable, beautiful banter and informative service. Food was phenomenal and the atmosphere/music/vibes are top notch!! Smashed down the steak dish and only got a photo mid chop cause I couldn't resist...

Great experience, had a very European feel to it on the top dining area. Great buzzy atmosphere. They have Resch’s on tap which is always a wonderful pleasure!The food was delightful - as always the bread steals the show! Soft and fluffy in the middle with a delightful crust. Worth the trip on its own for this.- Raw beef - delicious- Prawns - stand out with the harissa like sauce, the prawns themselves were grilled to perfection. Lovely and juicy.- Market fish and leaf salad - fish was beautiful and tender. I was against ordering a salad but glad we did, the Parmesan worked a treat with this.- Tomatoes - delicious, especially with the melon accompaniment.We didn’t indulge in the banquet. The team recommended about 6 dishes and this was spot on, we left feeling happy and satisfied.

Stopped for a lazy Sunday lunch. You order everything from the bar. Recommend the octopus! Plenty plenty choices on wine.

After joining the guest book, I was sent a voucher for a complimentary banquet on the proviso of a booking for 3 people for a special occasion. I wouldn’t have otherwise considered a dinner here as it’s usually a great spot for drinks however I’m glad we did! We really enjoyed the octopus potatoes and the fish. Would recommend for a special occasion!

Beautiful fitout, great service with friendly staff, lovely cocktails. Bit on the pricier side - just got a couple bar snacks, the bread with aged butter had the most delicious tasting butter although the bread could’ve been a bit warmer or toasted a little. The eggs with mayo weren’t great personally, and we ended up having a spoon or two and then leaving it. Beef tartare was pretty good as well. Otherwise not a bad drinking spot!

Stopped here for a light lunch and I’m glad that we did! A bit on the pricier side given the portion sizes, but everything was quality. The potatoes were particularly good! Crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside.We had to go up to the counter to place our order however the bar staff were very friendly.

We loved the octopus, potato chips and steak tartare here ! Pram friendly place - we will definitely come back. My husband loved the beer on tap selection - he loves the wildflower that they serve here. Service was excellent!
