Having done some research on having a battery replaced for my TAG I located George's business. I was impressed by the efficient service but MOST importantly how much cheaper it was than going to TAG : $45 instead of $250 !I got batteries for a couple of other watches which were inexpensive.Highly recommend.

Wouldn’t recommend giving expensive watches like Tag Heuer, Omega, etc here for battery replacement. Gave mine and really regret it as it’s FILLED with SCRATCHES at the back even after I confirmed with him initially before giving and he assured me he has all the machines and no scratches will come. When I confronted he made it sound like it’s not a big deal and it’s normal to get scratches while changing batteries. Not worth it for expensive watches.

Most definetely recommend Robert. He did an amazing job with changing the batteries on my watches; explaining what he was doing & took extreme care with replacing the batteries. No scratches on the watches & returned in same condition as had given to him. Old school customer service & extremely knowledgeable of watches. Both Robert & his wife are wonderful & friendly. Would definetely return.

Robert and his wife was so very pleasant and importantly I was able to change battery for my Tag Heuer for an amazing price.. it was a rip off earlier with a Melbourne CBD based watch maker two years ago. I would strongly recommend Handy Jewellery.

I can’t speak highly enough of this family run business. I took my Tag Huer watch in for a battery change today. Robert was so helpful and knowledgeable, (he’s owned this business for 34 years) He patiently explained what he was going to do and why, what he could guarantee and what he couldn’t etc. Best of all, it cost me $40 vs the $360 (!! NOT A TYPO!!) that was quoted to me by Tag Huer for a battery change which they would only do with a full service and they would need it for approximately 6 weeks. Robert did the job while I waited, including replacing a seal and repressurising it. Very, very happy to have found this store (thanks to Google reviews).

Robert is a fantastic watch repairer. His expert knowledge and service is rare! He told me started learning the trade when he was only 9yo! So passionate about his trade. Indeed hard to find. I wish him well!

My friend dropped a Citizen Eco watch in for a service, new battery, O ring seal, and refit the watch back which had fallen off.Two days after collecting the watch the back fell off again.The watch has not been cleaned. (see photo) The seal has not been replaced and the battery looks original. Most unprofessional. Would not go back

I have taken multiple very sentimental family jewellery in for repairs over the space of 3 years, and every single time I am very well looked after by the staff, and have been very satisfied with the repair work they have completed. You can’t even see the repairs!!Would highly recommend them. A family business run by a very caring family.
