I have been coming to the nail salon for 7 years on a weekly basis and I have always been treated with respect. The girls have always done a great job of my nails. I am a cuticle biter and it is a challenge for the poor girls to work around my uneven nails. Every time they do a great job!

** The ladies are mean ** I will never return ** Don't trust the positive reviews **I attended this salon with my friend. I was shocked at the way she was treated, made fun of for her colour preference, mocked throughout, and eventually hit with the nail file.I am appalled with how they treated her, and would recommend this salon to no one.

Thankyou to the team on Saturday who looked after me and squeezed me in for a mani pedi even when they were busy and short on staff! Much appreciated and my nails look wonderful.

Love lux by desire! The staff were nice and spent so much effort on my nails? I seriously don't know what's up with all these negative reviews. Have gone back many times and the results have always been long lasting. Love my pastel nails, reasonable price. Thankyou for the service!

I often go here as they are my local but anytime I go for a repair or a smaller service (less than $20) they refuse to do it always saying they are booked out. That’s how you loose regular customers.Never going again. I get full set and waxing every fortnight but will not return. Rude.

I had SNS done, and was dealt with by 2 different women, they ignore you, and they didn’t let me look at the colour charts properly. I asked for my nails to be trimmed, and the woman said yes, and all they did was file them. Less than an hour after getting them done, one of my nails chipped! I will not be going back, they are rude and do a poor job. I was very disappointed with the service and finished product. Oh and they asked if I wanted my eyebrows done, I do not ever get anything done to them!

I went to get my nails done here at 5:00pm, when they closed at 5:30pm - which was clearly an inconvenience for them. I had two separate people doing each hand, who were rushing through everything so fast... I ended up with different nail shapes on each hand because they didn't bother to ask what I wanted. The end product doesn't look so bad, although the gel polish chipped around the corners a few minutes later because it was so poorly done. Wouldn't go back, and wouldn't recommend anyone to go there. They just didn't seem to care!

This nail salon is terrible. I have been here on 3-4 occasions to get a full set of acrylics considering it is closeby and each time it takes them almost an hour and a half to do the set while constantly talking to each other which delays the entire acrylic process significantly. They are also overpriced, the majority of salons in Sydney charge $35 for a full set whereas they charge $50 (not gel). Irrespectively, its not worth it because they don't do a good job at painting the nails with polish amongst other things. One lady with glasses didn't even paint the entire thumb and left the tip of it white, which looks dodgy, rushed and unprofessional. Two separate ladies have also cut my cuticles and scraped my nail from filing and shaving too much of the nails with the tools they use on more than one occasion causing my nails to bleed. I do not recommend this nail salon at all. It was also particularly disappointing as I came in one occasion to get one broken nail fixed and the entire hands repainted with a different colour. The lady told me it was $20 total whereas the price on their brochure says a nail repair is $5 per nail and $10 for polish. After clarifying that price with her and finally agreeing that it was $15. She told the lady at the counter to charge me $20 still. Absolutely horrible, save your money and time ladies and go elsewhere :)

In terms of the experience the salon was very busy, clean and comfortable and staff were polite and friendly.With regards to the service, I had tried this place a few years ago and didn’t have a good experience.. within hours shellac had chipped off.Tried again 4 days ago still the same issue.. shellac chipped within a day, bubbles in the shellac, colour not to the cuticle bed and nail shaping was crooked and needed to be fixed at home.The salon has signs up within the shop saying they won’t be responsible for chips or cracks in nail colour etc which to me suggests this is a common issue for their customers.Might have been bad luck both times for me but I won’t be trying a third time.
