Delightful meal and warm friendly service. The cuisine is first class and the waitresses were attentive but not intrusive. Wine list is not expansive but there is a good range of wine varieties (some more Greek wines would be my only suggestions).

We had a great lunch here. The decor was lovely, service nice and prompt and the food was enjoyed by all. I had the gnocchi with puree pumpkin sauce. I don't understand the need to pour oil on a dish to serve it. I ate around the horrible pool of oil and the rest of the dish had great flavour.

Great food and service - we were offered a table for a set time as all other tables were booked on the weekend. Food was promptly served and good serving sizes. Recommend the lemon strudel - great balance of flavours. The homemade lemon jam is really nice. Sangria is more on the bubbly side. Nice and chill atmosphere.

Such a wonderful place and atmosphere with low and ambient music in the background.They have cosy sittings outside on terase, inside, or in the garden.Staff was exceptionally friendly and kind to all their guests and very attentive.We had group of 30 people (reserved) and food was fresh, on time and well presented.Meal options from brunch, lunch to 5 course banquet, that will satisfy any vegan, vegetarian, GF or meat lover. You can finish your meal with a homemade cakes.There is long list of wine selection AU, NZ, Greece, Italy.

Brunch for four on a Sunday: excellent, varied and a-change-from-the ordinary range of dishes. Plus we could book and not have to wait around for a table. Highly recommended and we will be back for a dinner very soon (we had the dinner menu when Aghora was round the corner in Glebe Point Road and know it is also excellent)

My friends and I had the banquet for my birthday and it was delicious from start to finish. The flavours were well balanced, portions were generous, time was allowed to digest between courses. and the service was fantastic. All set In a gorgeous heritage building. It was a risk as I had never been before and it definitely paid off. Will be returning again. The octopus was a standout for me. Perfectly cooked with a scrumptious sauce. Thank you!

A great neighbourhood restaurant.We went in a group of 14 on a Saturday night 2 weeks ago. We had a table at the far end to avoid disturbing the other diners. It was cosy, and the acoustics were excellent. (see photo)We had a set menu, which is to be recommended. It has an Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. The Eggplant (Melitzana) with Fetta was excellent, as were the Felafels (see photos). Leave room for the lamb pie topped with Bechamel Sauce is a specialty. The prices are reasonable - less than $50 for our feast. Loved it!

We have been here before and this place never disappoints! Great ambience, superb service, friendly waiting staff and super delicious food! The menu is unique and we have tried various different things over the years always to go back feeling satiated! Today we tried their brunch for the first time. My husband had the Greek Kayana which is spicy scrambled eggs, I had the Mediterranean breakfast. Both options were great and a must try. We finished up with an afogato which was glorious! Everything on our table was excellent and we'll definitely go back again!

We had a beautiful evening here recently. We wanted to take two special people out for dinner, and chose Ahgora based on reviews. It absolutely lived up to reputation, from the warm greeting, to the delicious food (with good vegetarian options) and thoughtful hospitality.

Great food, absolutely delicious! The two staff who helped us throughout and surprised my mum were so lovely! Can’t thank you both enough for the warm service! Ambience was beautiful - this is a gem of a place!
