We stayed here for the night and what a gem. Our room was lovely and the bed was ace. Our hosts were super helpful even though we didn't really get to meet them. Definitely recommend and if we are back that way again, we'll be staying. Thanks Sally and Chris

Some of the best customer service I've had in a long time, everyone greeted and made to feel welcome, all the meals were fantastic and a good size, great location, great building

Lovely heritage building, very clean rooms and communal bathroom. We checked in after hours which was easy with Sally's help. So quiet at night, we slept amazingly well!

We love coming to Circa. I believe they've had the same chef for years? Amazing mussels, great curries. Eclectic dining room

Excellent crêpes with maple syrup and ice cream also very decent coffee, slightly on the smaller side of sizes but the crepes and the coffee. But I guess that isn’t unusual in smaller sized cafes in small towns!

We are from Sydney and came in for some food! Well worth it! We got the Friday special fish and chips with a house drink. The best battered fish I have probably ever had, the chips were just as great!Friendly staff and great service! Mark’s first day and he was absolutely phenomenal. Left alone and had to get things sorted for us at the beginning, continued excellent service throughout! I couldn’t highly state how well he did! Thank you Mark!

We were seated by a very friendly staff member who helped us with our drinks and food order. The drinks and appetiser arrived in reasonable time, however we were left waiting for mains for around 40 minutes with no apology or even update on mains. The food quality was ok, however the pork belly was incredibly fatty with very little meat present, especially for the price paid. The Mediterranean chicken was nice, however the meat still had some connective tissue attached and the spices were incredibly overpowering.Overall not a bad dining experience, but things could have been smoother.

I drove 3 hours to get there. To my horror front door was locked. I texted them, got 2 page text back of elaborate entry instructions, with a SMART PHONE. As I don't have a smart phone, this was a problem. I drove around the block to find a rear entrance, but nothing. 50 minutes later, another customer tried to enter. 10 minutes and 6 tries later with smart phone, door eventually opened. I found & used the back door, but spent my holiday worried that I might return to find it locked. The room was nice, BUT one hanging light, of such low wattage I was unable to read (or anything) after dusk. I just went to bed at 8pm and stared at the ceiling, my shiny new book unopened! No milk in central kitchen area for a cup of tea, mirror was so high on the wall to use. As leaving, I pulled sheets back to help out, I found a very yellow stained mattress cover, uggh. Spoiled my trip, very apologetic to my accompanying mother, and quite frankly, pretty furious. The blurb on info sheet says We pride ourselves on receiving you warmly & making your stay an enjoyable and memorable one." It was memorable for sure. Never again."

Bit of a wait time 40mins but I can move passed that $32 for my meal but it was delicious. Friendly staff and great feel when busy and buzzing. Everyone enjoyed their meals so overall 4stars is fair I think. To be fair they didn’t have much staff at the time but overall great food
