Great customer service, friendly and helpful staff.I love this store; always something to catch your eye.Finding the perfect gift is easy as the range of goods is fantastic.But even better than this, are the staff, they are friendly, helpful and make some great recommendations without being pushy.I look forward to my next visit.

Friendly and helpful staff with a huge range of qaulity products.Recently visited the store, had wonderful help from Lucinda. She gave me great advice, I had little time to shop and she made the experience quick and efficient. She has a wealth of knowledge of the product range and if you want to have a strait answer she's your woman.

I was so happy with the customer service today especially with Jane. I was amazed at how humble and helpful she was. I was so impressed with her, she went above and beyond to help me especially considering that it was at the end of the day and we all know how tired she was. She was serving and gave me her all, 100% customer service with smile in her face. I really recomend this shop to everyone good price and good people. I have never seen this type of customer service in my life.

An interesting range of products, good for gift buying ideas.

Great shop however one of the staff was quite rude - I asked for a small pan (tempering pan) and she said the smallest pan size they do was 14cm and anything smaller would be considered a novelty item, she then proceeded to turn to her colleague and laugh and say what would you use that for!?Maybe educate yourself on the different cuisines and cooking methods, tempering spices or roasting nuts in a small pan is quite common.

Discrimination against anybody who isn’t a rich old women. I’m aware the store is in Toorak and anybody in there is no younger than 60, let alone a mid 20s male, HOWEVER, I have lived in Toorak for 20 years and I’m actually disgusted that because of my appearance alone, I was asked if I needed assistance about 5 or 6 times by the staff and monitored the entire time. I have worked in customer service, I know what staff do to prevent thefts. I heard each staff member interact with one another making sure everyone was aware they may be a theif and that someone was watching me the whole time. One of the ladies, I don’t know which because they all look exactly the same, was actually reluctant to assist another customer because there was no other staff around to keep an eye on me. I heard her approach another staff member and said that I was still looking and to keep an eye on me. I was the ONLY customer targeted and they were definitely not subtle. Obviously these privileged old women need to update their thinking, or maybe the company need to update their staff. God forbid if I was a mid 20s black male or A Muslim person, what would have happened then? What a disgusting feeling their lack of respect has given me. Of course the staff will deny having any sort of prejudice, it wouldn’t be good for their reputations. But I hope something is done about this.I’m a respectable aspiring young chef (who makes more than enough money to shop in there, not that that should matter), who went to look at their sale on knives and other products of interest and instead I left empty handed and incredibly offended. I hope the staff there today feel really good about themselves, they should be embarrassed, ditto for Mini Max for allowing this kind of profiling. They have DEFINITELY lost a “valued” customer.

appalled at the lack of customer service. they're very nice when ur buying but the second you experience an issue, they handball you and give you contacts that don't respond. this after 20 years of supporting them!Update: called again seeking resolution and Darren hung up on me before Sue stepped in when I called straight back to defend him, she is the manager she stated! Great managerial.skills! Role model!! This is quite consistent with all the other reviews I'm reading below. Wow, class. 20 years of purchasing there and this is the thanks I get. Consumer affairs next stop.

Great customer and various options for gifts. Always found good here when looking for some special gifts or for myself! Loving the shop.
