We had a lovely room with a bathroom just down the hall. It was all beautifully clean, great bedlinen and very comfortable bed. Plenty of lovely touches in a wonderful old building. Breakfast is great and reminded us of a proper Pommie bed and Breakfast with charming Hosts as well. We will certainly be going back again! Thank you very much

My sister and I took our grand daughters out for high tea..the hostess was fabulous. Being the owner, she let us onto to verandah early and invited us to be seated on the shade and enjoy the cool breeze.The food was delish and we were made to feel right at home. And what a feast. Between the 4 of us, we could not eat it all. What was left , we were given the option to take home..Which we gladly did..Thank you both so.much.

Service, food, ambiance. High tea for 4 of us was absolutely lovely. An abundance of delicious savoury and sweet offerings, with tea or cold drinks. The hosts were great, the service too. All at a very good price. Thank you Liz and Rich, we'll be back.

We had high tea here with friends and it was wonderful. Such an array of tea and food. The service that Liz and Rich provide was really good value and beautiful setting. Would highly recommend it.

Loved our stay here for a wedding nearby. Hosts were absolutely lovely, room was sparkling clean & the b&b itself was so charming. Breakfast in the morning was lovely too! Highly recommend - we will be coming back :)

Had a High tea today with a group of 13 work friends, food was great but the ambience Anne service was exceptional, we got carried away with chatting and could stay as long as we wanted, even when they were closing we were told we could continue on the lovely downstairs area, highly recommend coming here, such lovely hosts.

Beautiful place for high tea .Sat on the verandah with amazing views , service was impeccable, the food was amazing . It was so fresh & delicious & an I must say .. an abundance.The lady who attended us was beautiful & friendly and explained everything to us about the amazing teas & food .Will definitely go again .Natasha & Glenda

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Village - great location and a beautiful property, full of character and charm. Our room was so well appointed, couldn't fault it! Beautiful and clean, with the most comfortable bed. We had the most amazing tea and cakes on the verandah when we checked in, plus the home made meat pie and hand cut chips to follow was delicious. Breakfast the next morning was perfect. Liz and Richard are great hosts and we look forward to coming to stay again soon. Next time we will try the High Tea on the verandah!

We are locals and we decided to celebrate my 70th birthday with High Tea. The day we had booked for, for 4 people, I was unwell and we had to cancel on the same day. Liz was very understanding and we were lucky to do it a week later.The high tea had very generous portions and everything was delicious. It was a very happy occasion with a very well set table like the olden days. Charming tea set too.I highly recommend celebrating with High Tea in this charming venue with very dedicated owners. Or simply call in for coffee and cake in their verandah.Thank you Liz and Rich for contributing so much to a happy occasion.

Beautiful if you like comfortable and cozy with a great atmosphere then this place is it.Liz and Richard are fantastic hosts who go above and beyond who put up with us all getting ready for our daughter's wedding including photos being taken which is the perfect back ground.Fabulous breakfast included with variety. Close to other eateries and services.We will definitely be back for the High Tea. Highly recommended
