TREAND at Baxter Valley Estate

We were warmly welcomed on arrival. Enjoying lunch on the verandah we ordered the souffle for entree, snapper and eye fillet for mains. The highlight of the tasting experience was the lovely sauces and fresh vegetables from their garden. Service was excellent and delivered with great care. Their own Pinot Grigio was a lovely accompaniment to the meal.

Lovely vineyard! Unlike the big and fancy ones, this one gives more family and friendly vibes. Great wine and food as well!

Subtle flavours on the menu items makes for a pleasant experience for all tastes. Friendly folk rounded off the experience. Looking forward to going back. PS Did I mention great wines?

It must be that we are spoilt for choices for wineries and dining options in Melbourne that it missed the mark here for us. The standout here was the cosy family-feel vibe of the vineyard. It was comfortable and unpretentious which is always enjoyable. The dishes were nicely presented however lacked depth of flavour, not memorable enough to entice a return visit. Unfortunately the service was lacking on the day we were there. It was a full house and they were well-staffed, it was just hard to get their attention to order our menu items, and then again to order drinks. I suppose at $100+ per person lunch for a small restaurant, the expectation is that the service is attentive at the very least. Has great potential but unfortunately won't be in a hurry to return.

Such a beautiful winery restaurant with an amazing and attentive team combined with a stunning seasonal menu. Couldn't go past the home grown fig tart and the fresh scallops....stunning

We had the pleasure of a fab lunch here today. It was our 1st time, it’s left us wanting more. OMG I don’t even know where to begin… from the attentive, informative, warm & welcoming customer service, the unique deliciously flavorsome wine that came with its own wonderful story to the most delicious mouthwatering food!!! My goodness every single mouthful was sublimely exceptional in every possible way! Please - when you are exploring the many wineries in this region, DO NOT pass up on this wonderful family-run diamond of a winery. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you so much for a truly spectacular experience from start to finish! We will most definitely be back!

Such a great Winery/restaurant in Baxter. The laid back country feeling paired with fantastic food, wine and service from attentive and professional staff all makes for a really enjoyable day out. This restaurant is 100% one of my favourites!!
