First time client and couldn’t be happier with the results. Stacey cut my hair better than I could have imagined. I have dry curly hair that I thought I would need to straighten once cut shorter but the layers Stacey created gave new life & lift to my curls. I now have choice to wash & wear curly, great for the beach in summer or straighten for a change of style.

I had my first appointment with Stacey for my hen's day on Saturday and had a fantastic experience! Stacey was friendly, welcoming and best of all provided an incredible service. I was so happy with my hair and have booked in for my tan, hair and make up for my wedding. The salon was clean and aesthetically beautiful! I'm very excited to be returning in the coming weeks.

I had a lovely experience here! The gal that did my blow wave was honestly amazing, one of the best blow waves I have ever had which actually held all day! Would recommend to everyone :)

I still can’t believe my luck in finding Stacey and her team at Opia. I was recently looking back at old photos and was horrified at my old hair styles and colors. For many years I let previous hairdressers cut and colour my hair based on what suited them for ease and cost. I attended previous hairdressers very regularly for colouring and keeping my hair short was just easier for them. I had a ridiculous loyalty to them knowing how difficult it was to find a hairdresser who could fit me in regularly. Since meeting Stacey my hair is in the best condition in 10 years. My hair is at a length I have wanted for years, it’s shiny, it is a lovely colour. I have had more compliments in the last year than I have ever had! Booking is easy, I get reminders before my appointment, she always runs on time and provides the same amazing care and service every visit. I even treat myself in between usual visits for a wash and blow wave. Stacey and all the girls are without a doubt the best hairdressers in Mentone ❤️

Stacey was incredible! She listened to what I wanted and went above and beyond to achieve my colour, exceeded my expectations! Everyone in the salon is very friendly and they make you feel welcome.

I can not recommend Stacey and Mel highly enough. Stacey is the most amazing hairdresser I have ever had. Her kindness and creativity is incredible. Mel ( Beauty with Lulu) is a gem , such a caring and talented person who will make tour nails look AMAZING!!If you need a hairdresser , makeup artist or beauty therapist you need to visit Opia Hair & Beauty in Mentone. You will become a loyal fan just as I have :)

It's taken me 4 weeks to write this review, and I have previously reviewed this salon but I feel the need to change my review.Stacey has left my hair uneven, I noticed this about 3 months ago and I let it go to the keeper as she had her arms operated on, I don't think she had the strength to cut properly and I'm sure she has noticed the chunk missing each time she has since cut my hair.On another occasion, I rang to reschedule my appointment as I woke very fluey and didn't think it was appropriate to spread my germs with staff and general public in this Covid environment., on my next visit $75 was added to my bill making it $450 for my appointment, no small amount of $$$.This week Stacey needed to rescheduled my appointment and I received a text asking me if I could reschedule, wondering if I can charge $75 for the inconvenience of finding another hairdresser on such short notice. The polite thing would be to ring your customers to reshedule not text.I would also add, not all the staff are pleasant, and the rudeness of the girl who does the Brows can't be overlooked.I think they like their initial Google reviews but forget about customer service journey.

I recently had my hair done here for the first time by Jodi. My existing hairdresser has closed her business so I needed a new one. I used google to find highly recommended hairdressers in my area and Opia stood out for number of reviews and ratings. Suffice to say I am very happy with the result and have already booked my next appointment for December. I have found my new go to hairdressers.
