Noel has been a great help to my husband and I in establishing our Truffiere. There is so much involved and each step of the way Noel has been there to guide and assist us - be it from a technical perspective, all the way to how much seed we need for the inter rows. He has provided us a timeline for our project and helped us get the equipment we need. Not to mention his efforts to see us face to face despite the restrictions we have all faced with COVID recently. We used TruffleGrowing and Noel for the establishment of a 1 hectare, 400 tree truffiere. We've been very happy with the engagement so far and its clear Noel is obviously very well versed in all things truffle and has a prescription that works well and controls the controllable, leading to the successful cultivation of truffles. He has also pointed others in our direction to utilize our machinery since then, which we are happy to do in the interest of building further relationships. As a starting point with the hope of establishing a small boutique Truffle Farm we attended one of Noel’s workshops which was both informative an inspiring. It was obvious to us from the get go that Noel was the perfect person to assist us with the project planning and development of our new Truffiere. The idea of establishing a truffiere without any prior experience is daunting. However, we had the good fortune of meeting Noel Fitzpatrick who prepared and helped us execute a very detailed and well researched plan, tailored to our site. Equally important is the ongoing support we continue to receive from Noel now that the planting is done. Noel has been a valuable partner all the way through.

It sounded like a good idea at the time, 'let's plant a few truffle trees', but without Noel's constant and patient assistance it would have ended as an expensive mistake. Noel has been by our side from site selection right through to harvesting, and dog training advice. Six years on, he still promptly answers each new question, no matter how small or obvious, and is genuinely concerned about solving any issues we encounter. Noel's consultancy advises truffieres far and wide, including many large commercial enterprises. We planted 29 trees out of curiosity, just for pleasure. Noel treats us with the same interest and professionalism as he does business with thousands of trees.

Noel has been instrumental in the establishment and ongoing management of our farm. He is incredibly generous with his time, is always available, and very willing to tackle sit specific problems ensuring his approached is customised for each client. He is a pleasure to work with and we could not be where we are today without him.
