Snowy River Lodge Motel

Room was larger than expected and well equipped with amenities like coffee, tea and toiletries. The aircon was good. The TV is way too small. Biggest setback was the advertised wifi. In room 10 it was virtually non existent, too patchy to use. On top of this, 2 of our party of 3 had no phone signal and therefore no access to their data. They were not happy. The room tariff for 3 people $150 seemed high and was $30 higher than what was shown on the motel website.

Very clean, good size room for a family of 4 with 2 little kids to set up a portacot. All amenities were clean and working. Debbie was very friendly and helpful. Bed was a bit uncomfortable for me but was fine for 1 night stay passing through

Great accommodation for the budget conscious. Clean and tidy. Big rooms. Easy parking with lots of space.

Good value. We have a room with kitchen. Plenty of space to park caravan or boat. Would recommend this if you are towing. Friendly hosts. It's only 5 mins drive to Orbost.Only reason for one less star is that the TV reception is patchy due to satellite. Can't really watch. Could be the weather when we were there.

Was a small country Motel. Comfy and cosy. Rooms were a good size shower was small but amazing. Service was good. Beating had just been replaced but still a little cool at times. We were offered more heating if needed but as we were out most of the time we didn't need it. Great kitchen facilities with enough room to chuck on some food for dinner in the microwave. Tea and coffee along with a small fridge. Only down fall was the couch wasn't big enough and was tearing underneath which meant the kids wanted to play with it. Otherwise great spot. We were allowed our dog with us which was only allowed in the kitchen/lounge area which was fine as he was puppy create trained! Didn't really hear any traffic from the main road either. Prices were very reasonable.

Excellent place to stay just out of Orbost. Very friendly staff. They dont have a restaurant and i was tired from driving, so i asked if pizza was delivered.the manager/owner? Rang to find out for me. Was too expensive , but he then told me he was heading into town to buy chinese for his family, and did i want him to pick up some for me. Yes i did, very thoughtful. Delivered it personally to my door.The rooms were very clean, air con was lovely and the bed was great.The place doesnt look that modern on the outside, but it has all you need for an overnight stay.And for $90 ,per night you cant go wrong.Highly recommend.Plus its pet friendly.

For me the highlights of the place is the large rooms. So much better than the pokey rooms you get in most motels. It backs right onto the rail trail although the motel doesn't have an actual path to the rail trail. The wifi is available but not great. The little kitchen is well equipped with plates, knives and forks and so on. Fantastic. The microwave is great too. For me the bed was ok and the pillows too thick but this is being picky. I will definitely be going back.

The room was clean and spacious. We asked for an extra bed and they provided us with one which cost nothing. We could hear the people talking next door. The TV was very small, if you sat on the bed you couldn't see what was happening on the TV. The location is ok.

Booked a room ahead of time for 1 night as a rest stop for our 8 hour drive. We arrived with our 9 month old starving baby and our pug only to find out they gave our room away to people who weren't happy that their room only had 1 bathroom and demanded a second room. So we were left with nothing so that another customer could have 2 bathrooms... They didn't even call us to let us know. Absolutely atrocious.Luckily we found another place 15 minutes away, but without a bathroom and wasn't pet friendly, so our pug had to stay outside in the rain.
