Allenstown Florist

Had to find a florist after the new year and most have been closed. Allenstown florist was very accommodating and had a beautiful selection of dried arrangements. I was unable to come in store as I'm not a local and they sent photos and were very helpful over the phone. Delivery after purchasing was immediate. Such wonderful service in a difficult time, thank you very much

Bought some flowers for my mothers birthday and they were absolutely beautiful, my mum loved them. Would recommend this florist, fantastic service and friendly staff.

Flowers I ordered were not delivered. The florist suggested they must of been stolen. The florist advised they left them at the front door without ringing the door bell. It was December so very hot (over 30 celsius) and they choose to leave the flowers at the front door without ringing the door bell. Someone was home all day where the flowers were delivered but did not realise the flowers were there. The florist told me they don't have time to wait around for someone to answer the door because they have a lot deliveries. After many phone calls they agreed to re-deliver some flowers but it took a lot of calls. I find it amazing that when delivering flowers you do not ring the door bell!! Unfortunately I would not recommend this florist at all.

I'm not a fan of leaving a bad review unless warranted, but my partner spent $160 on a bouquet for Valentines day for me and they were in a reasonable condition for barely 2 days then had to be binned, thats not nearly good enough for the amount that was spent...

Sending flowers to loved ones is what Dads do. As my place of choice has closed, and needing to send interstate. I was presently surprised to find Allenstown Florists a short walk from The Shopping Town.With a great range of Australian Grown Blooms, with happy Florists, with a large choice and at reasonable prices. Covid compliant, easy parking , and wheelchair accessible.

I ordered the classic bunch for $80 for Mother’s Day. It was florists choice thinking they would do something spectacular. I have always ordered from a different florist so wanted to give these guys a go. Well how disappointed am I. It was full of babies breath with a few yellow flowers and a couple dying red roses. Was the ugliest bunch of Mother’s Day flowers I’ve seen and I feel so disappointed to have my name on it.

My husband and I went into the shop the other day to get a box of flowers for my sisters birthday, I didn’t end up buying anything. The store didn’t smell like what you would think a florist shop should smell like, it’s smelt strongly of body oder. My husband left pretty much immediately so I was left to get the flowers and as the lady from the counter wearing a polo shirt approached me, I noticed the smell was coming from her. She smelt like she hadn’t bathed in two weeks and didn’t know what soap was. Her dress attire was also very poor and unprofessional, a polo with some shorts, she looked very out of place. The flower arrangements are very basic and plain, nothing special about them, I’ve been in before and they looked the same. Also covid apparently doesn’t exists in this store, no proper precautions or social distancing and an old lady is coughing all over the place out the back and not washing hands, didn’t see any sanitising or cleaning happening in this place. The floor also looked like it needed a mop and sweep out back where the ladies were working as there was plants on the floor being walked all over. Honestly if your are going to buy from here, order over the phone or online and avoid going into the store, otherwise go to tall pines like I did, that’s a beautiful florist.
