Jack Frost Restaurant + Bar
This place is next level. Not only is is masterfully appointed with some of the coolest, craftiest wall art I've seen in ages and then of course the view of the mountains that everyone gets to enjoy. Then it is an equal first between the staff and the food. Highly recommend just getting a bunch of meals for the table to share - calamari, corn fritters, chicken wings, beef brisket, baked cauliflower, carrot wedges, and pork belly - it's was a fun way to dine on tasty treats. Finally the staff were fantastic - they all seem to enjoy being there and happy to help make your experience the best it can be. Cannot wait to go back and try and fit in dessert next time :)

The food was excellent. The brisket soft and braised well. The fish tacos were also a highlight. Unfortunately the food was a bit cool when served, bu this could just be the mountain air at night. I would definitely eat here again.

Jack Frost Restaurant + Bar
We had a great night at Jack Frost on their last night for the season with our large group. The staff were very helpful with all the missing meals and following up on the problems with the app ordering system. The food was very good, and we would have ordered a lot more drinks and desert if we did not have to bother with drama of ordering on the phone. We look forward to next season where hopefully we can order normally again.

“Frosty” is how you would describe the service at Jack Frost.Don’t get me wrong, the food was nice and off good portion size. (A Positive)However the service and venue has a lot to be desired.Contemporary decor in a shoddy lodge which needs real upgrading.The wait staff clearly just seasonal workers with no real regard for their job. Drinks took forever to come and multiple times they said they would bring water and beer glasses but never followed through.

Fantastic restaurant!I went here with my husband for his birthday and was not disappointed. Service was fantastic, staff were friendly and attentive, filling up our water regularly and checking we were ok. Food was delicious, the tacos are a must! Not sure when we will be back next but Jack Frost is on top of our list.

Been coming to jack frost on and off for over 12 years and seen many reincarnations, but I must say congrats to the team there now. The food and menu is very good. Beef brisket excellent!But hats off to the lovely staff and ladies. Went for dinner twice during the week and whilst busy the staff were all very very good, and was actually a highlight to see hospitality back to the way it should be, which is no mean feat post Rona, so very well done team!See you next year.

Wow. This place was WAY better than I was ever expecting. The decor is just next level, the views were great - and the food and cocktails were all just TOP NOTCH. I was seriously so impressed, I think it's going to be the only place I eat at Hotham from now on!
