Chermside Family Dental

A wonderful dental practice that goes out of their way to make your visit a pleasant one. I have always had great visits with Rebecca and will always recommend her to anyone in need of a dentist. She is always thinking ahead of what might need to happen in the future with my teeth and how we can best ensure positive outcomes. I now travel from the Sunshine Coast to go to this dentist, and will recommend them to anyone looking for a great, friendly, caring practice.

Not recommended, due to dentist not taking out our daughters baby tooth her now adult tooth is severely crooked and needs a lot of work with braces to fix it.I almost let them take out one of my adult teeth before going to my current dentist who said it was completely unnecessary.Receptionist was rude when I rang to say I may be a few minutes late..So glad we stopped going to these people and now have a completely different experience with another dentist.

I went to this dentist as we moved to Brisbane, leaving behind a wonderful dental clinic on the Sunshine Coast. I am a nervous patient and asked Michael if I could break every now and then, to which he replied that he would give me plenty of breaks. After 20 minutes of the most painful dental clean I have ever experienced, I gestured for a break which he refused. When I was able to get up, I took my things and left crying. It is really sad as I had seen the dentist Chris the week before who couldn't have been kinder and more gentle. It felt like Michael was actually angry at me for being a smoker (even though I explained I was in the process of giving up) and thought it was his job to make me suffer. I hope he was just having a bad day, as I would hate to think that this is his usual way of treating people.

A family member visited this dental practice for the first - and last - time. New to the area, she had sadly left behind a wonderful family dentist, and being a nervous patient hoped to be treated kindly at this practice. No she was not, she walked away upset at the lack of care and concern. Perhaps the dentist was having a bad day, well congratulations you made her day bad as well.

Highly professional staff. Wonderful experience for the whole family. Dr Rebecca McDermott had to remove and re-do one of my fillings that had been done by a different dental clinic. She did a fantastic job, and the tooth that had been bothering me for years, is now completely pain free. My Mum and Dad now also go to Chermside Family Dental after many years trying to find a dentist who was friendly, professional and able to ease their concerns over major dental work. Would recommend to anyone searching for a great new dentist.

Dr Rebecca is highly professional and knowledgeable. Respect her professionalism and passion for dentistry and patients. Client-centred care will demonstrated. All questions and concerns well answered and explained. Treatment well organised and planned ahead. Reasonable prising. What else do you want?! Highly recommend. I highly recommend Chermside Family Dental. I get highly anxious about a trip to the dentist but Rebecca listened to my concerns & I felt very comfortable with her. Before I knew it the visit was over! Thankyou : )

The absolute worst! They ruined my teeth. I went in with a small chip off my front tooth and instead of fixing it with resin, they ground it down and added a porcelain cap, leaving my teeth completely uneven and costing over a thousand dollars to fix.

Dr Patel is incredible, fixed my daughter chipped tooth super quick and her bedside manner was impeccable.The whole team are great. Highly recommend.
