The place might be great, but the General manager is so rude and unprofessional. Promised me a role for four months and changed her mind last minute and behaved so unprofessionally throughout. I explained to her a number of times that I have a loan which is why i need a commencement date, but she did not bother. I was competent and capable enough to find a much better and professional workplace, but I feel for people who have given interviews and had to wait for months to get the Job. Lovely facility, but poorly managed by the manager. No comments about resident care, but her attitude towards staff especially new starters is extremely rude. I am aware of a number of staff complaining about her being unprofessional at interviews. Please consider getting the contract first and do some casual shifts before leaving your permanent/ other employment. I have emails to support this review.

will talk to you maybe once while they see how much they can make off the person you want to place in the home... make no mistake if you can't fit their criteria of wealth, they won't even bother to speak to you again or even speak to you civilly.pray you have enough stashed away to afford them.

Good luck trying to contact your family member, they never answer their phone. I rang 5 times and it just rings out. Totally irresponsible people, what if there was an emergency and the family member needed to be contacted?

I’m a staff member at Bloom, and have been since before the opening of the facility. I can’t express what a great place this is to work at and the amazing effort that has gone into this facility by the proprietors, facility manager and all staff members that have joined since. An awesome atmosphere with all cultures appreciated throughout the residents and staff. I’m grateful to be given the opportunity to work here with kind and respectful residents and colleagues.

Were overly enthusiastic initially trying to entice us to select their facility for my mother and then rejected her admission on review of her support plan. The rejection message was relayed by the receptionist who was unable to provide reasoning. I requested one of the clinicians to call me which never occurred. The engaged overall was unprofessional.

As a part of the clinical team at Bloom, I can say that Bloom provides genuine support to its staff and delivers quality care to its clients. HR and management are very approachable with their open-door policy. All staff possess good knowledge and work collaboratively.Its supportive and professional atmosphere makes Bloom one of the best places to work at. I appreciate being a part of the team.

I am a staff member at Luson Bloom- I was here when the facility opened in November last year. The staff are all amazing including the management. Residents are being respected and cared according to their needs and preferences. What a great place to work with.

I cannot believe that after questioning the care management staff on their Covid station. That they run on a “trust” system. This is unbelievable and an absolute cop out My father has Covid and could have only contracted this thru the centre Is this a money saving strategy on staffing requirements I will be taking this further for the safety off residents, families, visitors and the amazing over worked staff
