I was considering purchasing a bbq from these guys but the amount of negative feedback has put me off.It seems that they reply to the positive feedback and not the negative feedback.This company has is a big problem with supply, the bbqs must be all made overseas.There is also a huge communication problem.I think I'll go with a Aussie company who build their own bbqs here.

Two stars because I’m just glad (and surprised) my BBQ turned up. I emailed a week after I ordered online to get a rough idea about the expected delivery timeframe. I was told it would be at the warehouse by the end of the week and then would be delivered to my address from there. I waited 4 weeks and then followed up. Made multiple calls, and no one had any information except it should have been picked up from the warehouse(??) and when it is picked up I will get a tracking number emailed to me.After 7 weeks my BBQ arrived unannounced when I was not home and the guy was just going to leave it out the front but luckily my neighbour was there.Fingers crossed it works!I wouldn’t risk buying from here again.

The chat option on the website is useless. Tells you there’s someone there then resets after a few minutes. Finally got onto Dan to ask about why a thermometer couldn’t be delivered to Qld and was told they had turned that option off due to courier problems for large items. Thermometer isn’t a large item! Moving on…Gave him a call and asked a simple question that he said he’d have to look at the box and get back to me. Never heard back. Ordered the thermometer elsewhere and it’s on its way. Very poor service.

The most frustrating delivery experience I've ever encountered. I ordered a BBQ online in November 2020, and after weeks of following up, the response was the BBQ was delayed because of covid until January. Then in January after me chasing them again and again it arrived, but without two accessories. I've since chased them for these two accessories. The cover got delivered last week and now after chasing again, they tell me the rotisserie won't be here until the end of March. The communication from this company is a -1. I would not give a dollar more to them ever.Update: today is 20th April, still don’t have the rotisserie. Last week I had a PDF form letter emailed to me, purportedly from the Sales Manager basically saying that the delay was caused due to Them overselling their application of Napoleon BBQ’s and Napoleon didn’t have enough stock to fulfil due to global demand. I pre-paid for this in November 2020- you would have thought that in December they would have returned my money, but kept my order- instead they held my money for 5 months. Still don’t know when it will come.... there has been nothing from The BBQ King even attempting to try to recover from this situation. I wonder how many other people got caught in this.Ha! the saga continues. Thew last email said that the container was arriving on the 5th May and items would be shipped in the following week. Today is the 24th May. i have not been contacted so decided to call again. John the previous guy that emailed me doesnt work there anymore, and the lady I spoke to told me another story that now the are out of stock globally, which i replied, no mine was on the ship that was arriving on 5th May... so is it or not? I asked her whether it was reasonable for me to have to continue to call them, rather than me having to call them for updates; she replied: we don't have enough staff to call everyone with a backorder". She then said to me that it was a 'bonus item' so in other words

Ordered a Napoleon Rogue 525 on 26th of April, and had not have any update since. Tried to message and call the number on their website and got zero response yet. Very bad service indeed, and I have to keep chasing !!!!

I was holding off on writing this review for some time. Just hoping this company would change my mind. Unfortunately, they didn’t.If your looking for a quick and easy process with easy communications. This is not the place to shop with. I purchased a smoker online. Called up a week later to get an update on the shipping. They told me they had no stock (this should be labelled on website at time of purchase). They told me on 3 different occasions that they would ship the item on a particular day which they couldn’t meet. They made no effort to contact me with any updates.2.5 weeks pass and I finally receive my smoker in the mail. At the time of purchase, they had a promo running for a packet of free pellets. This of course didn’t arrive with the package. So I call up again and enquire. I was told that someone would get back to me with an answer and I have yet to hear back.I strongly do not recommend this company. There are plenty of other bbq shops around

These guys are the worst - ordered a Everdure Neo Black Outdoor Kitchen - 6BIMLPC-21B - approx 8k paid with Gas converter- The BBQ is gray not Black. The GAS kit wasn't delivered - backing plates that hold the modules together not included . have tried to call over 10time rings out and don't respond to emails -- Buyer be aware and recommend use some else

I placed an order for the Sirius SL80 Outdoor BBQ Rangehood on 12 November 2021, I followed up several times to find out what the status of my order was. The replies were very vague and a promise of shipment within 2 weeks of the order date. We are nearing a month with no update/ shipping or feedback and reply on my email. Really disappointing service...
